    This bridge was constructed two years after the opening of Kyushu Sanchi Quasi-National Park in 1982. It is a suspension bridge 250 meters long and 142 meters high, and it will make you feel like you’re walking among the treetops of the laurel forest. On the other side of the bridge is a two-kilometer-long nature trail, the perfect opportunity to enjoy a walk in the woods.

    Besides the main suspension bridge, there is a smaller one. You can enjoy some walking from the main bridge to the smaller one.

    This traditional crafts facility is located in Aya Town, a town known for its handmade crafts. The facility displays handmade crafts from the town and also holds craft making activities such as fabric dying and pottery making. Aya Town continues to preserve and maintain a culture of traditional crafts, and this facility was built with the aim of passing on traditional crafts, made by the hands of experienced craftspeople, to future generations. The facility consists of an all-wood crafts display hall standing in a corner of the grounds, and two crafts buildings, and these are used to display and sell crafts and hold pottery making and fabric dyeing classes. The facility also serves as a gallery and is used for solo exhibitions and design research and development.

    This clothing goods studio produces kimonos using mostly Okinawan splashed pattern weaving techniques. The “naturally fermented ash indigo dyeing” studio is one of the largest nationally, and is also designated as an intangible cultural property of Aya Town. Visitors can inspect the workshop and, with reservations in advance, experience the craft of indigo dyeing as well. Kimonos, clothes, shawls and so on are also produced at the studio.

    精進料理にありがちな地味さとはまったく無縁のレストランです。絵本に出てくるような雰囲気の外観でゆったりとした時間が流れています。お料理はどれもびっくりするような素材と見た目です。味も優しいお味です。こちらでいただいたノンアルコールの白ワインは、全然ジュースっぽさがなく、とても美味しかったです。

    This is the site of a mountain castle in Higashimorokata County, Miyazaki Prefecture. The castle has been reconstructed using local timber and now stands on the castle site. There is a “History Museum” in the castle exhibiting displays of the history of Aya, swords and armor. “Aya International Craft Castle” is also on the site, and it offers traditional Aya craft products, as well as hands-on pottery, hand weaving and dyeing classes.

    夫婦でされているというちいさいパン屋さん。小道を入っていったところにあり、なかなかわかりにくい。が、お客さんはひっきりなしに入っくる。パンの種類は10種類もなかったと思う。焼きたてをちょうどいただいたが、おいしかった。

    スタンダードな札幌味噌ラーメンをいただきましたが、出汁まで完全に飲み干す美味しさ！家族は八丁味噌のスープのを注文しましたが、これもとてもおいしかったです。 種類別の味噌ラーメンのほかに、唯一塩ラーメンもありましたが、これも絶対美味しいと思います。 開店直後にいきましたが、すぐお客さんでいっぱいになりました。

    This horse park sprawls on the western side of Aya Castle. Inside the lush park, visitors can enjoy tether-drawn horseback rides. Inspired by the history of Aya Town, which has had a flourishing racehorse and farm horse cultivation industry since ancient times, the park opened as the prefecture's first fully fledged horseback riding club. The park is replete with an all-weather indoor riding ground and clubhouse. Customers rave that the park is a fun destination for riders of all abilities, from beginners who just want to meet and pet a horse, to advanced riders looking to savor the true joys of horseback riding. Some 1,500 cherry trees have been planted around the riding ground, and in the spring, the park bustles with large numbers of visitors come to view their blossoms.

    町おこしで綾町が有名になった頃、綾町のシンボルとしてこの花時計と大吊橋が取り上げられた記憶がある。大吊り橋は確かに迫力があるが、この花時計と馬事公苑は、少し観光客目当ての色合いが強すぎる気がする。その意味でちょっとがっかり。 しかし、馬事公苑の周囲にある広大なサッカー場などの自然を生かした緑の広がりには心を癒される。

    天台宗犬熊寺萬福寺。境内駐車場も数台確保されています。枯山水庭園（楽山園）は、中央に数百年を生きた紅梅の名木を配し、吉野の石、京都の白川砂、北山杉などを取り寄せて作られた桃山式の庭園とのこと。訪問時の二月下旬は、園内に咲き誇る紅梅がお見事、アッパレです。お腹一杯になること間違いなし。空腹時の訪問はお控え下さい。

    2016年の初日の出を拝んで来ました！ ここは和泉式部が身を投げたという歴史的に深い場所なのですが、グラススキーの出来る公園もあります。 国富町の中心から車で20分程の位置なのに標高が高いので、太平洋から昇る太陽を見ることができます。 メインのお寺については、あまり知識を持ち合わせていませんので、別の方のコメントを参照にしてください。

    囲炉裏での食事を楽しみに九州外からも家族をよんで旅行を計画し2ヶ月前から予約していたのに、直前に電話があり後から予約が入った団体を優先するため囲炉裏での食事はできないとのこと。みんな楽しみにしていたのに台無しにされた。こんな宿絶対泊まりたくない！
