    A five minute walk from Aburatsu Station on the JR Nichinan Line. This baseball stadium is located inside Tempuku Sports Park in Nichinan City. The stadium has served as the training campground for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp professional baseball team since 1963. In addition to being used for spring and fall training camps, the stadium is also used by the Miyazaki Phoenix League, one of Japan's leagues for training young players to potentially play in the pros one day. Visitors can catch the training camps for free from the viewing stands. Nearby facilities include an indoor multipurpose sports ground, pitching training ground, and sub ground.

    This is the southernmost ski resort in Japan, characterized by dry powder snow on the slopes at a height of 1,610 meters above sea level. The resort can be enjoyed by families or hardcore skiers and snowboarders offering a paradise course for beginners and medium level skiers, and a dynamic course for advanced skiers. The now famous “Takana (leaf mustard) meat bun” is available at the store.

The park's facilities supporting a variety of sports include Nango Stadium, a baseball field with two 100-meter-long spectator seating wings; the all-weather Nango Kuroshio Dome sports facility; a multipurpose field; a Japanese archery range; and tennis courts. Nango Stadium, which also has a 122-meter-long central seating area, is replete with a broadcast room and locker rooms, as well as large and small training rooms, shower rooms, and an umpire room. Since the 2004 spring training camp, the stadium has also been used as a training camp ground for the Saitama Seibu Lions professional baseball team.

    "Here, under the courteous guidance of an instructor, visitors can experience ""shikenhan"" archery, a type of entertainment enjoyed by the samurai of the southern Kyushu region. Shikenhan was practiced by military commanders at banquets during the Warring States period and became popular among samurai warriors during the Edo period; in the mid-Meiji period, it transformed into an amusement which was enjoyed with shochu at banquets. ""Shikenhan"" means about 8.2 meters and is the distance from the shooter to the target; while the bow is about 136 centimeters and target is roughly 13.7 centimeters - accordingly, everything used in the game is equal to measurement unites in length, hence its name of ""shihan."" Today, this form of archery has been designated an Intangible Cultural Property by the city."

    プロ野球のオリックス・バファローズの春季キャンプ地です。アクセスは三球シャトルを利用しました。宮崎市の南部に位置し、中心街からは結構な距離があります。オープン戦を観戦しましたが、なかなか良い野球場でした。
