    "This day-use hot spring bathhouse is just a short distance down the road forking south from the Osugi Iwamoto-shi-taku-mae bus stop. The waters of the bathhouse' natural alkaline simple spring are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain and stiff shoulders, as well as to beautify the skin. The bathhouse has two indoor bathing areas, one with a stone bath and one with a hinoki cypress bath; which is the men's area and which the women's alternates on a monthly basis. The bathhouse also has two outdoor baths, one a rock bath and one a ""goemonburo"" bath filled with cold water. There's also the Tororoan restaurant on the grounds, which serves cuisine primarily made using local heritage chicken, such as charcoal broiled chicken. The bathhouse is also replete with parking, making it easily accessible by car."

In addition to offering outdoor activities such as barbecuing and fishing, the facility also provides lodging via auto camping and rentable log houses. Here visitors can take in the great outdoors and do things like watch fireflies in June, have fun insect hunting in summer, and take in fall foliage in autumn. In addition, the facility has a bathhouse, open to non-guests as well, whose baths are filled with the waters of a hydrogen carbonate spring said to treat such ailments as rheumatism and lower back pain. These waters can also be drunk for additional health benefits.

The bathhouse' rest lounge on the second floor offers a sweeping, lovely view of the Ajimu Basin. The waters of the bathhouse' salt spring are renowned for warming bathers to the very core and are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, muscle soreness, and sensitivity to cold. Situated near Utsukushi Valley, Gunkan Rock, the Hisashi Momiji, and other tourist attractions, the bathhouse also has parking, making it conveniently accessible by car. The bathhouse' baths are supplied with free-flowing water from a simple hot spring. The bathhouse' indoor bath can also be used as a private bath, and from its large windows bathers can take in the area's beautiful scenery. In addition, the bathhouse is a part of the Kyushu 88 Onsens program. Business hours are subject to change, so prospective customers are recommended to contact the bathhouse in advance.

Inside, the bathhouse has high ceilings, and its indoor bathing areas have an enchanting atmosphere which will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Water flows from the 15-person indoor bath to the long and narrow outdoor bath, making the outdoor bath more on the lukewarm side. The waters of the bathhouse' simple hot spring are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, muscle soreness, and joint inflammation.

    This day-use hot spring bathhouse is a 20-minute drive from Bungo-Mori Station and stands right in front of the Momijinoyu bus stop. The bathhouse also adjoins the Shinyaba Onsenkan, a lodging facility operated by the city. In addition to indoor bathing areas, the bathhouse has an outdoor rock bath and octagonal gazebo bath, and beyond their enclosing fences, bathers can enjoy the seasonal scenery of Shinyaba Gorge. The clear waters of the bathhouse' mildly alkaline hypotonic spring leave the skin silky smooth. The bathhouse also sells souvenirs, and the bathhouse usage fee is half price on the 26th of every month as well as free on June 26.

    タイミングが良かったのか空いていてゆったりと楽しめました 周りには他にも温泉もあるようですがこちらの湯質もなかなか良く気に入りました 一階に休憩所もあり家族できても寛げると思います

The bathhouse' baths are supplied with free-flowing 40.6° C water pumped from a murky, dark brown sodium magnesium-hydrogen carbonate spring 600 meters underground. The bathhouse has a simple design consisting of just separate men's and women's indoor bathing areas and washing areas. There's also a rest lounge. Note that the bathhouse does not provide soap, shampoo, or other amenities, so be sure to bring your own along with a towel and anything else you might need.
