    A roadside station situated along National Route 326 in Miyano, Mie-machi, Bungo-ono City. Facilities include a shop selling local agricultural and specialty products; a Chinese restaurant serving dishes made with fresh vegetables; a ramen restaurant; a Japanese restaurant; and a “yoshoku” Japanese-style Western food restaurant. There’s also a free dog park. Located on a hill, visitors can enjoy a well-known view seen as a symbol of Bungo-ono called Enaido no Kei.

    大分市内から豊後大野方面に向かう国道３２６号線沿いにある道の駅です。ちょっと施設は古いのですが、駐車場は広くゆっくりとできます。高台にあるこの場所から眺める大野川と田園風景は、一度観る価値がありますよ。竹田や久住高原方面に向かう途中に寄ってみましょう。

Here visitors can buy fresh agricultural products picked that very morning from local fields; Toyo no Shamo chicken meat, a local specialty product; processed foods; and crafts. The adjoining restaurant serves chicken dishes like oyakodon chicken and egg over rice, and udon noodles.

    51号線の中九州道が自動車専用道になり、ここがトイレ休憩をかねた立ち寄り場所になりました。総菜、野菜などがあるよくある道の駅ですが、同じ敷地内にあるAコープが一般のスーパーで飲み物など豊富なので意外に重宝します。男性用トイレの天井に燕が巣を作っていて、ヒナを見ることができました。多目的トイレの上に男性用トイレとの間のガラス窓があり、そこからも巣の様子は見えます。

There are also restaurants serving handmade soba noodles, yakiniku Japanese barbecue, Korean cuisine, and set meals. Additionally, there is a knickknack shop as well as shops selling tofu and bread.

The adjoining restaurant serves curry and other dishes made with an abundance of local vegetables. Adjoined by a strawberry patch, when in season visitors can pick strawberries here. The station’s strawberry soft serve ice cream is quite popular.

A trip to Oita is tantamount to a long soak in the Beppu baths. The mountainous, coastal prefecture of Oita is renowned for having more onsen than any other prefecture in Japan, most of which lie in the city of Beppu on the west coast of Kyushu, recognizable by its pungent sulphuric aroma and the clouds of steam that puff up across the hillside.
