    A long-established soba restaurant established in 1898 about five minutes by car from Hitoyoshi Station. To this day they make country-style handmade soba every morning. They use domestically produced buckwheat from Hokkaido, as well as from Kikuchi in Kumamoto and Kirishima in Kagoshima for their simple, heartwarming noodles. The soba is further enhanced by a broth made from local soy sauce blended with kelp from Hokkaido and dried bonito flake from Makurazaki. Their popular Kashiwa Soba features the delicious, rich flavor of a local chicken breed. Lots of repeat customers come from afar just for this.

    九州道人吉インターから市内に向かう所にありました。 注文を効いてから蕎麦を切るそうで、出てくるまで少し時間が掛かります。 日曜のお昼に行きましたがほぼ満席でした。 二八と十割とがあり、とろろも三種類有りました。 一番安い二八のざる蕎麦を頂きましたが、十分美味しかったです。 (量が少し寂しかった)

    水上村にある風情ある山の幸館 蕎麦、うどん美味しいです。 手作りソーセージも美味しかったです。 お店はおしゃれでゆっくり出来ます。 森林セラピー基地が近くです。

    朝早くに、八代の港に着き朝食を食べるところをタクシーの運転手さんに尋ねると、唯一、このお店が開いているとのことで、入りました。正直なところ、うどんは大したことはありませんでしたがボリュームは負けていません。との感想です。

    定食の種類がたくさん！一食900円程度でリーズナブル。ごはんは食べ放題。うどんは比較的細麺で滑らか。単品料理もたくさん有る。味はそこそこ。 夜は家族連れと独身者が多いよ。 元々、津奈木町発祥の店。
