- "This cafe operates out of a remodeled barn which is over 200 years old. The cafe's decor exudes a Japanese modern atmosphere, and inside it serves diligently hand dripped, home-roasted coffee. Dedicated to the concept of local production for local consumption, the cafe uses ingredients grown in its own vegetable garden and farm in its foods and desserts. For lunch, the cafe offers a choice of two meals - ""Zen Lunch"" is Higo red beef sirloin diligently grilled over a charcoal fire, and ""Pasta Lunch"" is a pasta with your choice of one of three main dishes. Either one enables you to save the innate, natural sweetness, bitterness, and deliciousness of a variety of home grown vegetables."

平日に開店と同時に入店しましたが、どんどんお客さんが入り続けていました。 赤身ですがミディアムレアに焼いた肉は柔らかくジューシー。薬味の味噌やワサビもタレにマッチして美味しい。 ただ、最近は肉ブームで良質のステーキ丼がどこでも食せるなか、価格を考えると少し肉の量が物足りない。

阿蘇自体が観光地化されてきたため、サラリーマンのランチは選べない状態になってしまいました（近隣のお店が高額なため。）。 この店は安く食事ができるため、使い勝手がかなり良いです。 ただ、店の求人広告に時給1,000円〜と書いてあり、高額な時給のアルバイトが阿蘇にもあるんだと驚いてしまいました。

家族で平日のランチとして行きました。おすすめは、ソーセージとハムの盛り合わせです。パンとスープもついていて、まずまずのボリュームがあり、味は最高です。庭で放し飼いになっている犬と阿蘇の景色とのマッチも素晴らしく、とても楽しめました。

白川水源等、水源周りをしてこちらに立ち寄り。奥さんが以前から気になっていたというお店。スイーツをお土産で購入、店内でカフェしているお客さんも楽しげ。再訪し、次回はお茶とお菓子を堪能します、ご馳走様。

阿蘇の食材を使ったランチで、 とても美味しかったです。 窓から見える景色も綺麗でした。 道の駅の行き方が分からなくて、聞いた所親切に丁寧に教えていただき助かりました。

「四季の里 比良」に行き、 田舎料理定食（2160円）を注文。 地元で採れた山の幸が堪能できます。 電話予約した時、 「美味しくしておきますので、 気をつけてお越しください」と言われた時、 面白そうな人だなと思いましたが、 やはり大将はよく喋り、 話が面白くて楽しかったです。 阿蘇大観峰や黒川温泉にお越しの際には 是非、寄ってみてください。 また行きたいです。
