    Hitoyoshi City Kumamoto Prefecture Hitoyoshi Onsen Station-Yumae Station
    This luxury sightseeing train running from Hitoyoshi Onsen Station to Yumae Station offers a relaxing ride while taking in the scenery of the Kuma region. Operated by the Kumagawa Railway, the colorful seats and other aspects of the interior have seasonal designs. The train slows down while passing sights along the way. Their Hospitality Corps provides services to passengers at the stations the train stops at.

    終点の湯前まで乗った普通列車が田園シンフォニーでした。観光列車だと思ってたので人吉温泉駅では乗ってイイのかなと思った位に素敵な車内でした。時期的に空いていて、車窓も桜が咲いていて、天気も良く風景も満喫出来とても良かったです。

    A trolley which runs between Minamiaso Railway Nakamatsu Station and Takamori Station in Kumamoto Prefecture only from March until November. The train only operates on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and the vacation season. The Aso Caldera can be seen from much of the train’s route, and riders can enjoy views of gorgeous mountains and rural landscapes from the open windows of the cars. Train staff also provide a guided tour on the area during the trip. In addition to beautiful views, the ride has its thrills, including travelling along a bridge between Nakamatsu Station and Tateno Station 60 meters above a ravine.

    A railway with close ties to the region it runs through in Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures. It connects 28 stations between Yatsushiro City in Kumamoto Prefecture and Satsumasendai City in Kagoshima Prefecture. The railway is known for the wide variety of trains they run, including the Kumamon Wrapping Train with a theme of Kumamoto Prefecture's mascot Kumamon, the Cycle Train for carrying bicycles, and Train Rental which lets you charter a whole train car. They offer a wide range of travel plans that allow you to enjoy a variety of unique sightseeing spots and local cuisine.
