- A theme park where you can learn about the traditional crafts of Hitoyoshi and Kuma, an area selected for inclusion in the Japan Heritage list. The park consists of nine facilities, including a ceramics arts hall, smithing hall, glass hall, and teahouse, and visitors can make a variety of crafts by hand under the guidance of skilled artisans. There's also an observatory with a sweeping view of the Kyushu Mountains, a campground, and a park perfect for small children, making this a great destination for the whole family and for a variety of purposes. The local specialty products market sells traditional kijiuma wheeled bird toys, hanatebako boxes painted with camellias, and a wide variety of other gifts and souvenirs from Hitoyoshi and Kuma.

こちらに来て偶然見た番組で知りました。 三徳包丁作り体験¥5000。 凄く丁寧に教えてくれます。 所要時間は90分くらい。 家にある包丁の中で一番の切れ味。 私は来る度に作って親しい人にプレゼントしています。

- Aso Nature Land, located in Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture, offers a variety of activities that allow visitors to enjoy the mountains, grassy plains, and other blessings of nature to the fullest. The sky-themed sports are especially popular. There’s even a paragliding course for beginners who want to experience what it’s like to descend to the ground from a hill. Visitors can view the sunrise from a hot air balloon 40 meters in the air—young children are allowed as well if accompanied by a guardian. There’s also horseback riding, canyoning, and a variety of other courses available.

- "This horseback riding club employs instructors who have been certified by the National Riding Club Association of Japan. The club engages in all of its horse-related activities, such as children's horseback riding lessons, horseback archery, and outdoor riding for experienced riders, under the motto of ""safe and comfortable."" Thanks to the club's kind and courteous instruction, even absolute beginners can enjoy horseback riding with peace of mind. Many of its riders even appear in television dramas or movies; or are mayors or Shinto priests participating in festivals and events. Club also has an adjoining restaurant and training camp lodgings."
