- "The world's only theater dedicated to ""saru mawashi,"" a type of monkey show with a long history in Japan. The theater can accommodate 600 people and holds funny and heartwarming shows 365 days a year. Performances include handstands, walking on stilts, and even bicycle riding. The cuteness of the monkeys bring smiles to the faces of the audience and draws viewers into the performance before they know it. The theater is situated in a naturally beautiful area at the foot of Mt. Aso and inside visitors can enjoy the light banter between the monkeys and their trainers. Another great thing about the theater is that it offers subtitled translations in three languages and the theater fully incorporates universal design principles. The large theater grounds also encompass a monkey zoo where visitors can interact with monkeys, a shop selling original merchandise, and a self-service diner."

ホテルのプランで入場券が付いていたので、行ってみました。 日曜でしたがそれほど観客は多くなく、一番前の席で見ました。 猿が可愛くて、子どもも喜んで見ていました。 すごくちゃんと芸を仕込まれていて、思った以上にクオリティが高かったです。

仕事の発表会で利用した。熊本から空港行きのリムジンバスで行ったが、バス停から大きな道路を横切って会場までアクセスしなければならなかった。会場はゆったりしており、トイレや自販機等の設備も十分に揃っていた。レストランはビュッフェ形式で、おかずも多かったので満足できた。

- A vast outdoor theater which can accommodate up to 50 thousand spectators. Situated in a naturally beautiful area, a panoramic view of southern Aso sprawls beyond the stage. The site is open to the public excluding when music festivals and other fee-charging events and both children and adults can enjoy a fun-filled day here. There's an adjoining studio which can also be used by the general public, a perfect place for band practices. In addition to outdoor concerts, the site offers a fully array of services and can accommodate barbecuing, camping, and outdoor weddings.

- "This community center stands at the foot of the Tsuetate Bridge. The facility's name is derived from its distinctive exterior, which resembles the letter ""P."" The facility has large windows which let in plenty of light, making it an open and airy space, and inside are sold cute, handmade accessories, knickknacks, and original merchandise. Various drinks and desserts are sold in the second floor cafe space. The Mukashi Pudding has a lightly sweet flavor and is particularly popular; on busy days, the cafe will sell 100 or more servings. Feel free to stop by while waiting for a bus or before you can check in to your hotel."

熊本城そばにある市民会館。セミナーのために大会議室に行きました。外観がモダンなので誰の設計か調べたら、佐藤武夫という新橋駅前ビルなどの設計者でした。観光で訪れる場所ではないかもしれませんが、バスのターミナルである交通センターにも近いので近くまで行ったら外観だけでも見ると良いです。

熊本地震直後は一時的に休業していましたが、今は復活。 熊本市中心部の映画館として、幅広い年齢層が利用しています。 映画を見ると駐車料金が3時間無料です。イオンも隣にあるので、買い物に便利です。

日田から小国へ 小旅行 小国でお手頃料金(¥300)の温泉へ 浴槽一つのみの簡素な温泉ですが 不必要に広くもなく 気持ち良かった〜 石鹸・シャンプーなどの備え付けはありません。
