グラバー園に向かう急な坂、お店のマスコットに引かれる。食べ歩きが出来る角煮饅頭を、一つ注文した。熱い熱いと、若い店員が脅すように注意を促すが、ええ年して熱がらないと思いきや、ダチョウ倶楽部張りのリアクションとる熱さに驚いた。でも、美味しかった‼️

大浦天主堂に近いお土産屋さんです。2階では食事もできるようですが、そちらには立ち寄ってはいません。広い開放的な店内で、見て回りやすかったです。さすがにカステラの品揃えがよかったのはいかにも長崎らしい感じですよね。

The shop’s most well-known item is its hard and sweet mahua, known as the emperor of Chinese confectionery. Due to its twisted spiral shape, it is locally nicknamed the “yoriyori.” The shop also offers such popular Chinatown souvenirs as fried karinto puffs, redolent of peanuts and sesame, and geppei (mooncakes).

中華街の真ん前にあります。 店先でホカホカに蒸しあげられているのを見ると、やはりそそられます。 テイクアウトはもちろん、店内でもいただけるようですが、税率が違います。私たちはすぐ目の前のホテルに宿泊していたので、もちろんテイクアウトしました。 ホカホカの角煮まんじゅうは、やっぱり美味しいです。

趣きのある外観のお店。長崎をテーマにした手ぬぐい、ブックカバー、トートバック等オリジナルに柄の雑貨が揃います。とにかく長崎がいっぱい詰まってる！って感じの雑貨屋さんです。長崎大好きなら絶対外せないお店です。店主もとても気さくで良い方。

教会を見学するのも良いが、傍にあるキリシタンの歴史がかなり重く、興味深い。 日本史の教科書では、ここまで広く詳しく書かれていない。こんなにも多くの人々が殺されていったのを知る事が出来る場所だ。

クラバー通りの一番下にあります。一階にファミリーマートがあるのでそれを目印にすればすぐにわかります。基本的にはミュージアムというよりはお土産屋さんで、しかも専門店ですので、興味がある人とない人ではっきり分かれるとは思います。
