    This longstanding alcoholic beverage brewery, established in 1900, stands on National Route 382 on the southern side of Iki Island a 10-minute drive from Gounoura Port and Indoji Port. Iki is said to be the birthplace of barley shochu, and the brewery continues to make Iki shochu according to a unique method. The brewery is famous for its Mugi Shochu Iki, which delights with the aroma of barley and the sweetness of koji malted rice at the same time; and Takiizumi, which was awarded a gold prize by the Monde Selection. There's also a free adjoining shochu museum where you can see exhibits on shochu and also sample and purchase shochu.

    創業明治28年、歴史ある酒造メーカー。場内がとても綺麗な状態、熊本地震の際に一部改修されたようです。 作業場では従業員の方が忙しそうに作業されていました。 販売コーナーに多く日本酒が並び、おすすめの入れたの生酒を購入。美酒でした。

    ふくふくとした麦焼酎の良い香りが蔵全体に充満していた。超音波をかけて熟成させた円円(まろまろ)は、柔らかい口当たりで飲みやすい。ワインボトルようなビンに入ったAKUNAKI CYOUSENも、麦焼酎らしからぬ可愛さでお土産に良いと思った。
