    The Nakazato family is the only family to maintain the traditions of ancient Karatsu and today, this Karatsu ware ceramics studio continues to be operated by the 14th head. Visitors can tour the studio’s gallery where Karatsu ware is displayed and sold as well as the Tojin-machi Ochawangama kiln, a nationally designated Historic Site. From 1734 through the Taisho period, the Tojin-machi Ochawangama kiln was used for official purposes by the local government. An eight-minute walk from the South Exit of Karatsu Station.

    Saga Nishimatsuura-gun Aritacho Odaru 1-4-2
    This art museum that opened in 1954 was the first official museum in Saga Prefecture. The exterior is that of a stone warehouse, and it has a two-story wooden interior. The building itself has been designated as part of the Important National Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings in Arita Uchiyama. It showcases Arita ware dating from the Meiji period to the early Showa period including the work of various kilns and pieces handled by wealthy merchants. Some of these are Important Cultural Properties of Saga Prefecture.

    蔵を改造して展示場にしてあり、美術館自体に歴史を感じます。 有田の陶磁器産業の変遷がわかりやすく展示してあり、勉強になりました。 駐車場あり、入場料120円でお安いので、一度は立ち寄ってみるといいと思います。

    A park located in Shimokoga, Higashiyoka-cho, Saga City. Adjoining the Higashi-Yoka Higata Tideland, which is registered under the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, visitors can view mudskippers and other tidal flat dwellers as well as wild birds and Shichimenso, a plant which thrives in high salinity waters. Facilities include a playground with a boat-shaped piece of play equipment the same size as the Ryofu-maru, Saga Domain's first practical steamship; and a course where visitors can ride unusual and interesting bicycles. In summer, children can play in a shallow water park area.

    "A park located in Okawachi-cho, Imari City. This area was the location of pottery studios which officially supplied what was Nabeshima Domain from the Edo to the Meiji periods. Today, the area has been designated a National Historic Site due to the history of its ""secret"" kilns and this bridge marks its entrance. The ancient climbing kiln, checkpoint barrier, and potter's home have been rebuilt. Other park facilities include an observatory, pottery plaza, and ""Meotoshi"" tower outfitted with 14 Imari ware wind bells which create beautiful sounds."

    "A place that primarily exhibits collections from the community. On the first floor there is a display with replicas of the ships that used to come and go at Yobuko Port. The second floor has an exhibit of army and navy uniforms. Although it's called a ""Product Center,"" it is not a souvenir shop, but a museum."

    呼子に行ったときに立ち寄って見ました。無料で展示が楽しめるので時間つぶしにはよかったです。ただ、期待して行くとがっかりするとおもいます。

The park's grounds enclose a Shinto shrine, the former Ogi Domain Residence, and the Jirakuen, a garden created by Nabeshima Motoshige and Nabeshima Naoyoshi, the first and second lords of Ogi Domain, respectively. There are also tennis courts. A renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing, as well, some 3,000 cherry trees grow on the grounds. In addition, azaleas and wisteria bloom in the park from mid-April to May.

    A castle built on a hill by the first feudal lord Terasawa Shima-no-Kami Hirotaka between 1602 and 1608. The entrance to the west of Sannomaru was called Nishinomon. This facility is in that historic zone. It houses, curates, and exhibits cultural properties excavated from various sites around the city. The facility is also barrier free, so wheelchair uses can also pick their own, and there are accessible toilets as well. There are different varieties of strawberry to pick growing across the seasons, and they take reservations for activities like making strawberry jam.

    "Located approximately five minutes from the Saga-Yamato Interchange on the Nagasaki Expressway, this is main facility of the ""Kinryu Park Jofuku no Sato Medicinal Botanical Garden,"" which was created on the theme of health and longevity in connection with Jofuku (Xu Fu) who has a connection to Saga. Jofuku, who went on a quest for a panacea for immortality, is said to have found the medicinal herb furofuki (wild ginger) in the land of Saga, and the facility introduces its trajectory and legend. In the adjacent herb garden, there are about 50,000 plants from about 500 species of medicinal plants including furofuki. It is possible to drive in from the Kinryu Service Area on the Nagasaki Expressway."

    This exhibition hall displays the 14 hikiyama festival floats used in the Karatsu Kunchi Festival, a harvest festival held each year from November 2 to 4. Each of the floats was dedicated sometime between the late Edo period and Meiji period. They were made by wrapping wooden frames with hundreds of sheets of Japanese washi paper and then applying and re-applying various colors of lacquer. Bold in design and modeled after themes such as a samurai helmet, Chinese lion, and sea bream, even when looked at through a protective case one can feel their power.

    A prefectural museum in Arita Town which is dedicated to preserving and displaying ceramics from areas throughout Kyushu. The museum’s collection focuses on pieces from the former Hizen Province, particularly porcelain such as Imari ware and Karatsu ware. Highlights include the giant music box made of Arita ware and the Meissen porcelain bells. The 25 bells, made in the Meissen State Porcelain Manufactory in Meisen, Arita’s sister city, play a song related to the two nations every hour, announcing the time.

    "A sports park situated along Prefectural Route 1 in Shimojuku, Ureshino-machi, Ureshino City. Facilities include a multipurpose sports ground, baseball field capable of seating 15 thousand spectators, a artificial turf soccer field, and an all-weather indoor multipurpose ground which also can be used for events. The park served as the venue for the 38th National Tree Planting Day held in 1987 and is thus also known as ""Miyuki ('Imperial Visit') Park"" in reference to the visit Emperor Showa made during the event. Visitors can grill and eat the seafood they bought in a provided barbecue corner which also offers a buffet of sushi made with fresh seafood plus tempura made with fresh squid caught that very day. Additional facilities include the Yobuko Daiba no Yu bathhouse where visitors can enjoy a bath along with a sweeping view of Yobuko Bay, and a marine food processing plant.

    A pottery gallery located inside the Yoyokaku ryokan inn in 2-Chome Higashi karatsu, Karatsu City. Pieces crafted by the Ryutagama pottery studio in Mirukashi, Karatsu City are displayed in the gallery. The gallery has three exhibition rooms, and, in addition to works by studio head Takashi Nakazato and his eldest son Taki, the gallery also displays pieces from Nakazato's second daughter Hanako Nakazato's studio monohanako.
