- "A monaka wafer sandwich specialty shop located in Dazaifu City. The shop's signature ""Onigawara Monaka,"" made by skilled chef's with loving attention, are so tasty you'll keep wanting to eat them no matter how many you've already had. The shop's monaka are made with sweet azuki beans from Hokkaido. Their monaka make for popular souvenirs and gifts as well as treats to enjoy while exploring the area. From September to the end of December, the shop also offers monaka filled with Mont Blanc."

- This Japanese confectionery store was established in 1948, on the path leading up to the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The plum garden confectionary store has a selection of carefully created Japanese sweets such as Houmanzan, dedicated to the Emperor, and Uso no Mochi. The store creates different sweets each season and is a favorite of culture and tea-lovers. It is approximately 30 minutes by car from Fukuoka Airport, or one minute on foot from the Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.

宝満山はなんとも言えない食感でした。うその餅はおいしく食べられました。 正直、これら二つは、好みが分かれると思いますので、試食してから購入されることをお勧めします。
