    A historic site located in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Opened as a government office in 1908, the building is one of only a very few customs houses in the country from the Meiji period. It is a wooden, one-story, thatched-roofed building, and its western-style windows, which open and close vertically, are notable. Designated a Cultural Property by Omuta City, the structure has also been on the World Heritage Tentative List of Japan.
