A Kawara soba shop in the western building of the Mojiko Retro Kaikyo Plaza in Minatomachi, Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City. They're known as the originator of Kawara soba, a traditional Shimonoseki cuisine. Their menu includes Kawara soba which has a green tea soba made with Uji matcha green tea served with their secret broth, their other specialty Unameshi which mixes grilled eel and rice, and a Kawara soba Una-cha tea combo meal. They have seating from which you can look out at the strait while enjoying your meal.

海峡プラザに来てみると瓦そばのお店が2件。しかも1階と2階に重なるようにあります。元祖瓦そば「たかせ」は2階にあります。温かいつけ汁にレモンの輪切りともみじおろしをいれて食べます。熱い瓦で茶そばがおこげになっておいしいです。

お手頃なうどん店。たしかにお手頃なんですが、麺は粉っぽさが残り、福岡のうどんといえばスープが大事ですが、スープはあまり好みではなかったです。たくさんのお客様で賑わってました。数ヶ月前に値上げしたそうですが、他のうどん店と比較してもなかなかお手頃だと思います。

久留米の六ツ門あたり、ほとめき商店街から路地にはいったところにある、うどん屋さん。創業昭和8年と看板にでています。ランチで中華うどんをいただきました。うどんのだしに、ラーメンの細麺。だしがとても優しい。あっさりしていて、のんだ翌日でも胃にやさしい。丼ものもあり、定食メニューもあります。お店の雰囲気もいいお店です。

くうてんの店の一部入れ替わったときに入ったテナントだと思います。アミュプラザが再開したあとに週末のお昼に行きました。まだ、くうてん自体の人通りが少なかったので、ここの店内もゆっくりでした。店の前に掲示していたかぼすおろしにしましたが、まだかぼすの時期になっていないということですだちおろしでした。さっぱりした美味しいうどんです。

毎月一日は「釜揚げうどん半額デー」です。たまたまイオンモール福岡に行ったのが一日で、この特典を利用させてもらいました。釜揚げうどんは大にしても190円ですので、野菜かき揚げ天を追加しました。うどんは適度にコシがあって、福岡の軟らかいモチモチしたうどんとは違い美味しいです。また天ぷらは揚げた手じゃないようですが、保温してあるので美味しくいただけました。
