    This venerable brewery, established in 1870, is located just behind the Kyushu University Ito Campus about a one-minute walk from the Motooka bus stop or about a five-minute drive from JR Susenji Station. It is one of the few breweries in Hakata to have received awards at the Japan Sake Awards. The brewery offers free brewery tours and sake tastings. It also has a shop where visitors can buy sake, craft beer, seasonal exclusives, and other products. In addition, visitors can also try the brewery's Suginoya Beer, which has only available at the brewery. Visitors can enjoy one set of three, the brewery's Gold Prize-winning amber ale, pale ale, and stout with specialty dishes such as its sake brewery pizza and sake brewery curry.

    This Japanese confectionery store was established in 1948, on the path leading up to the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The plum garden confectionary store has a selection of carefully created Japanese sweets such as Houmanzan, dedicated to the Emperor, and Uso no Mochi. The store creates different sweets each season and is a favorite of culture and tea-lovers. It is approximately 30 minutes by car from Fukuoka Airport, or one minute on foot from the Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.
