    "This beach is located approximately a three-minute drive from the Momochi Ramp of the Fukuoka Urban Expressway. Because Hasegawa Machiko thought up the name of one of Japan's favorite cartoon characters ""Sazae-san"" while strolling on the beach, it is along Momochi Coast called ""Sazae-san dori Street,"" and also called the mecca of beach sports including beach volleyball and beach football. In addition, the facility complex Marizon situated in the center of the sandy beach has restaurants, a wedding hall and marine sports shops."

    A swimming beach located in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture. A beautiful coastal area with clear waters, during swimming season the beach bustles with visitors. Clubhouses nearby offer barbecuing and local bed and breakfasts offer fresh seafood caught in the Genkai Sea. Keya no Oto, a designated National Natural Monument, is also located in the area.

The beach is also located close to the Aquasian waterpark in Ashiya Seaside Park and visitors can enjoy both ocean swimming and waterpark fun.

    A swimming beach in Nijofukae, Itoshima. The beach features an almost 700-meter wide sandy beach and shallow waves as well as a BBQ area and five beach huts that open during the beach season. There's also a dragnet fishing experience offered from May to October (reservation required).

    A swimming beach located along Prefectural Route 300. Located within the Genkai Quasi-National Park the beach features a bow-shaped white sand beach and a calm sea. The Ministry of the Environment selected the beach as one of the Selection of Best 100 Beach and during beach season the beach plays host to the Summer Festival in Hatsu Beach, drawing large crowds of beach goers.
