    Here at the TOTO Museum you can learn about the roots and history of TOTO Ltd. who played a role in Japan's modernization. Along with the culture and history surrounding plumbing from their founding to the present day you can see their thoughts behind the creation and evolution of their products. There are almost 1,000 displays to see and along with goods on display including toilets, baths, faucets, and Japan's first unit bathroom (according to JIS regulations), there is also a toilet for sumo wrestlers that you can actually sit on to compare the size and new products that are only sold overseas.

    What a great museum the Toto Museum was. I traveled to Kitakyushu mainly to visit this museum and it was the highlight of my weekend trip. I walked here from the train station, it was a bit far but...

In the green expanse visitors can enjoy a tropical biosphere and rose gardens, greenhouses, and kangaroo area. In the summer season the ""Jabujabu Pond"" offers water slides and rowing boats, and is a popular spot for children."

    We spent the day in the park and enjoyed our time in the butterfly museum as well as all the flowers and the kangaroos.

    It is around 10 minutes by ferry from Meinohama, Fukuoka City. A vast natural park situated in northern Nokonoshima. The highlight is being able to see swathes of flowers as the seasons change, including rape blossoms and sunflowers. The park is full of athletics and play facilities popular with children, who can casually enjoy playing ball or rope ski. The ceramics and ceramic decorating experiences are also popular. With jointly established shops and restaurants also available, one could certainly enjoy spending the whole day here.

Inside are lions, tigers and squirrel monkeys, as well as a children’s amusement park with merry-go-rounds, a viewing platform and a picnic area, making it a place loved by people of all ages and families with children most of all. Popular events include animal petting activities.

    口コミ評価の高い動物園。園内はさほど広くなく、突き当りまで行ってから同じ道を引き返すようになっているので、迷う心配がない。子供連れにちょうどいいが、大人でも十分に楽しめそう。ホワイトタイガーのように、ここでしか見られない動物もいる。

    古代から中世の当時の中国の王朝などの使者を接待する迎賓館の鴻臚館。海を越えてエンヤコラと来たのでしょう。現在は飛行機ですが結局遠い感じがします。

The museum’s rounded 160 meter by 80 meter building is large enough to fit an entire international regulation soccer field, making it best to schedule plenty of time for one’s visit.     リニューアルオープンして綺麗になった美術館。ルノワールやモネの絵画を見る事ができます。今年はスコットランド美術館展も開催される予定です。ここからの北九州の展望はとても素敵です。交通の便が悪いので、市街の方はタクシーでいく事をお勧めします。

    八女茶でもお土産に買おうかと思い立ち寄ってみたのですが思った以上に 長居しました しずく茶と言う八女の特有飲み方を 喫茶でさせてもらったのですが、とても良い体験になりました 自宅にしずく茶専用のお椀を買って帰った程です 体験コーナーも 抹茶を石臼で挽く体験やほうじ茶を作るような体験があったようですが 時間が合わず できませんでした 次回は行ってみたいです

    This art museum is located an eight-minute walk from JR Mojiko Station. It has a modern and nostalgic exterior, does not have permanent exhibits, and holds exhibitions from five to six times a year centered on Japanese paintings and Chinese and Japanese ceramics. It also has the Idemitsu Founding History Room that follows the life of Idemitsu Sazo, the founder of Idemitsu Kosan who opened the museum. There are seven corners that introduce the footsteps of Idemitsu Sazo and his respect for life and dignity.

    ノーフォーク広場から門司港レトロ地区の方向に歩いて向かっている途中にありました。出光興産の創業者の方が集めていたコレクションを展示している美術館なのだそうで、陶磁器などの展示が多かったです。また創業者の生涯を紹介するスペースもありました。
