The expansive open-air baths that overlook the Pacific Ocean are perfect for washing away stress as you gaze at the stars and listen to the lapping of the waves. - Kumono-ue is a hot spring resort with hotel accommodation located in Yusuhara near the headwaters of the Shimanto River. The alkaline hot spring water is said to be good for the skin. Besides a large indoor hot spring pool, there are also stone-built outdoor pools. Besides hotel guests, day-trip visitors can also use the facilities. There are rest areas, banquet halls, and a large wooden gallery space. There is a campsite and bungalow accommodation located adjacent to the hotel. Basic accommodation is also available for people traveling by motorbike.
