    A hot spring hotel situated along the Niyodo River, Japan's cleanest river. The hotel's hot spring is a natural alkaline simple sulfur cold mineral spring. Its waters warm the body down to the core and are said to treat a variety of ailments, including chronic skin diseases, chronic women's diseases, cuts, diabetes, nerve pain, and muscle soreness. Non-guests can also use the hotel's bathhouse, and the hotel offers specials such as a stamp card, double stamp day, and senior citizens' day. Immersed in the surrounding forest, the hotel has an outdoor bath with a view of the natural beauty of Kochi and large indoor baths, as well as cheery cottages made with wood from Niyodo Town.
