The restaurant preparing delicately flavored French cuisine from local produce and the hot spring bathing, available also to day visitors, is very popular. The open-air bath that channels the spring water directly, and the indoor bath are both available for guests.

    村人のお父さん、お母さん達による心のこもったおもてなしの数々、囲炉裏端での談笑など、本当に忘れられない旅になりました。 掲題について、なんと自分のご先祖様が14世紀以来の付近の城主で、1585年の小早川隆景による四国平定の折、下城しこの地に移り住んだことがわかりまたびっくり、とても感慨深いものがありました。ただ先祖は平家ではなく源氏方だったようですが、、 翌日、墓参りして帰りました。

    GWに利用しました。エントランスからワクワクする雰囲気で、宿泊する建物は、恐らく古民家でとっても綺麗にリフォームされています。２部屋のみで、食事処は共用ですが、お風呂はそれぞれ別になっていて、時間を気にしなくてもいいのがよかったです。食事も値段からはあまり期待してなかったのですが、予想を裏切りおいしくて大満足です！あと、オーナーさんの人柄もとてもよかったです。旦那様がつくられているワインもおすすめ...

Stretched across the northwest corner of Shikoku island, Ehime is a nature-rich prefecture boasting beautiful coastlines and a rural center where mountains play host to 26 of the Buddhist temples that make up the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Matsuyama is home to an original post-feudal castle as well as Dogo Onsen, one of the country’s oldest natural hot springs. The northern city of Imabari marks the entrance to the Shimano Kaido, a road that crosses six spectacular bridges and several islands, forming a route between Shikoku and mainland Honshu.
