A cute cow, which is the mascot character, greets you at the entrance to this tourism farm. At this expansive farm they predominantly grow the Sanukihime variety of strawberries here, which are a Kagawa Prefecture variety that is sweet and juicy. The strawberry picking season, open to the public from winter through early summer is all-you-can eat for one hour. Visitors are free to eat any and as many as desired strawberries within the designated green houses. The passageways are wide and well paved, so that they are wheelchair and baby stroller friendly. For groups of 10 or more, they will provide transportation with a mini bus. In addition to strawberry picking the farm has a petting zoo, a human UFO catcher, and an old fashioned target shooting range.

Kagawa Areas

around-area-map

Japan’s smallest prefecture, Kagawa, may take up just a small corner of Shikoku, but it has grown increasingly popular with the recognition of Naoshima, its "art island" in the Seto Inland Sea between Shikoku and Honshu. Just a stone’s throw from the islands, mainland Kagawa’s prefectural capital, Takamatsu, holds history in its castle ruins and its pride and joy, Ritsurin Garden, is known as one of the country’s best gardens.
