    A straight famous for its whirlpools which appear cyclically due to the rising and falling of the sea level caused by the pull of the moon and sun. The straight rapidly grows 1.3 kilometers narrower and its deepest point is around 90 meters. Visitors are particularly recommended to view the straight on spring tide days when the current is faster.
