    The tourist information center is located at the gateway to Shikoku. It provides information on sightseeing and transportation in and around Naruto City. Its facilities include boards with sightseeing information, a waiting room, coin-operated locker, restrooms, a taxi stand, and more. There is also a slope car that ferries passengers up and down the slope between the center and the highway bus stop above it.

    Located at the border of Tokushima and Kochi prefectures, this tourism center has an inviting wooden main building, a soba shop made from a renovated 200-year old civilian home, and a deck with the panoramic view of Oboke Gorge. You can go down to Yoshino River—supposedly among the “World’s Fiercest Rapids” —and ride in an 8-person rubber raft for some rafting. The facilities are comprehensive with a ramen restaurant, souvenir shop, outdoor shop, hot showers and a changing room.

    駅から数分歩くと「うだつの町並み」に出ます。 ここの観光案内所にある地図をもらって歩くと、町並みやうだつの特徴を見ながら回れて、楽しめます。 もう少し時間があったら、鹿肉ロース丼を出しているお店が駅の近くにあったので、食べてみたかったです。

    小松島市のＪＲ駅は南小松島駅で、小松島駅はない。駅構内には観光案内所とベーカリーが入っている。ここでバスに乗り換えるために調べていたら丁寧に案内してくれた。以前は駅前をとおらないバス路線もあったが、全路線がここに寄るようになったので、遍路寺院巡りの起点として便利。 駅前に名水があるので、汲みに来る人もいる。
