    "This is a Roadside Station located on along National Route 191 in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture and is famous for being located at the westernmost point of Honshu. Fresh seafood straight from the fishing port and seasonal produce are available at the ""Houhoku Dream Market"". There is also a restaurant called ""Wakuwakutei"" serving fresh seafood. It is possible to see the sea of Kitaura and Tsunoshima Island from the observation terrace, and many tourists visit the spot."

    角島大橋のたもとにある海土ヶ瀬公園から、南へ向かって５ｋｍほど走った、道の右手に、道の駅北浦街道豊北がありました。 おみやげ品コーナーが充実している道の駅でした。館内を出ると、裏手（北側）には漁港があり、その向こうには海が広がっていました。少し前まで私たちがいた角島が見えていて、角島大橋もよく見えます。ここからだと、ちょうど橋を横に見る形になるので、その長さが実感できました。
