近隣に姉妹店舗？が２軒ほどあってそこを含め3つの温泉が楽しめます。 同じ温泉エリアなのでお湯も大差ないだろうと思っていたら意外と差があって新たな発見でした。 足湯も周辺に点在していて、湯田温泉そのもののアミューズメント性は低いものの湯めぐりには適したシニア以上向けのイメージでした。

初夏に素泊まりさせていただきました。 よくあるユースですが、奥様がとても暖かく迎えてくださいます。 なにか、懐かしい第二の故郷に帰ってきたかのような感じです。 建物、設備ともに古いですが、それもまた味わいですね。

貸し自転車が300円/日で借りれるので、これで島内を散策するにはいいと思います。島全体が人間魚雷の訓練基地のイメージですが、島は穏やかで住みやすい面も持っているはずです。バンガローで過ごすにはいい場所です
