This small amusement park is a part of Marina Hop, one of the largest shopping malls in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions. Designed to be “a space for play encircled by sky and sea,” the facility is a fun destination for children and adults alike. From the park’s Ferris wheel, visible outside the park even from a distance, riders can get a sweeping view of the Seto Inland Sea. The Pierrot Coaster clown-themed roller coaster is faster than it looks and can be ridden by children as young as two years old. Some of the park’s numerous other attractions include the VR Ultra Reverse Bungee, which makes use of VR technology and a special, motorized seat to make you feel like you’re flying through the air; and the Rockbird pirate ship ride. On weekends and holidays, the park bustles with families.

Hiroshima Areas

There is more than meets the eye awaiting any Hiroshima-bound traveler. Kicking off in Hiroshima city, the Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle, and Shukkeien Garden offer a couple of days of exploring; however, the real beauty lies along the southern coast of the prefecture. There, a series of islands spreads across the Seto Inland Sea: from the mysterious sea-submerged Great Torii Gate at Miyajima Island to the first half of the islands that connect Honshu to Shikoku via six spectacular suspension bridges.
