- This health complex houses both a bathhouse and sports facilities. A heated pool is located on the first floor, while the bathhouse area is on the second floor. Customers must wear a swimsuit, and the complex has swimsuits for rent if needed. The waterslide in the pool area is wildly popular with children (users must be at least 120 centimeters tall), and on weekends and during the summer holidays, it’s not uncommon for lines to form. The complex also holds swimming classes for very young children which parents can participate in as well; yoga, Pilates, and other fitness classes; and a variety of events.

- A day-use hot spring bathhouse located 15 minutes from the Tojo Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway. In addition to its large bath area, the bathhouse is replete with a pool filled with hot spring water, and a training gym. The waters of the bathhouse’ hypotonic alkaline cold mineral spring are said to beautify the skin and treat such ailments as nerve pain, muscle soreness, and joint pain. In order to ensure customer comfort, the water in all of the baths is completely replaced daily. The heated pool area has large windows letting in plenty of natural light, and has a four course 25 meter pool. The bathhouse also holds children’s swimming classes.

- As its name implies, this resort and spa house centers on a cave steam bath which recreates the kind of baths many people enjoyed in the Edo period. Here visitors can enjoy Edo-style bathing in steam baths which makes use of the excess heat generated by firewood burned from 3 a.m. each morning. The facility is replete with three baths – a seaweed steam bath, Japanese mugwort steam bath, and loquat leaf steam bath. Bathe in their soothing vapors in order to promote the outflow of waste products in the body and experience a powerful detoxifying effect. There’s also a “womb” bath filled with salt water which is more saline than the ocean, and a medicinal outdoor bath.

定期的にお世話になっています。高級感などはありません。 出来た当初は、温泉が売りだったと思いますが、昨今は スーパー銭湯が良くなりましたので相対的に魅力があせました。 また、目をつむらなくてはいけない部分だってけっこうあります。 それでも、繰り返しお世話になりたくなるのは、 素朴で素敵な気配りと、リーズナブルな料金が魅力だからです。

しまなみ海道サイクリングの帰りに立ち寄りました。駅からは徒歩5分ほどです。1階の銭湯を利用。450円 シャンプー、リンス、石鹸がそれぞれ50円でした。2階3階はサウナや電気風呂、休憩室などがあって別料金で利用できます。
