The store space was renovated from an old residence and contains several items belonging to the “Kurashiki Hampu” brand, which was born in Kurashiki City, the location that produces about 70% of all domestic canvas. It is known for its excellent durability and breathability, and the bags and accessories grow on you the more you use them, making them popular as trip mementos or souvenirs for someone special. The shop offers semi-custom-made tote bags that allow you to choose from four shapes and 12 colors.

As the shop was originally a photo-studio it features high ceilings and the outside of the shop has a retro-western-style feel to it. The shop is directly run by denim manufacturer Dania Japan and sells one-pieces and shirts from their Nuki-Emon line featuring a lack of rear lapel as characteristic of Japanese-style clothing alongside other denim goods including jeans. All of the goods offered feature a careful handmade quality made by skilled craftsmen from quality materials.

Their unique brand goods strive after a perfect blue and they sell not just jeans but a wide range of goods including jackets, shirts, and accessories. The offer a wide assortment of varieties for men, women, and children, including their Shutsujin line with the world's deepest indigo off set by white twin lines and their Doutan line featuring worn blue denim and yellow stitching.

The shop operates out of a repurposed warehouse that was part of a canvas factory that first opened during the Taisho period. The shop space blends together the aspects of classical Japanese culture and tradition with modern design. They offer all of the brands developed by Baistone including Kurashiki Hampu and JOBU and sell items that are durable and tasteful including canvas tote-bags and accessories. You can also place orders for custom original tote-bags.

    A 15-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station. This shop deals in goods such as glass work and natural stones. The interior of the shop is deep and narrow and offers a great number of natural stone accessories, glass goods, and other products. Some popular products are their accessories made with their deep blue Deep-Sea Blue Glass Beads. You can also try making your own original accessories using natural stones and glass parts. On the second floor there's an exhibition gallery with reproductions of prints by artist Yumeji Takehisa and woodblock prints by artist Yasuo Matsunaga. Yumeji Takehisa merchandise including postcards are available for purchase.

Their Hard Remake Manufactured Pants are made with all of the craftsmen's skill and transform a simple article of clothing into an outstanding piece of work. Also recommended are their Indigo Dyed T-Shirts, perfect for mixing and matching, and their Denim ties which suit both casual and business occasions. Also popular is their paint treated denim smart-phone case.

Overshadowed by Hiroshima to the west and the Kansai region to the east, Okayama is an easy spot to miss but a nature-rich gem where the Seto Inland Sea laps at its toes and peach and grape farms complete its interior.
