    A 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station. This restaurant operates out of a building constructed during the early Meiji period located near the entrance to Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. The interior features a relaxed retro-modern atmosphere and hanging in the dining area is the Playing Turtles calligraphy by world famous artist Shiko Munakata. For lunch we recommend their Kurashiki Riverboat Steak meal, limited to 15 servings it pairs beef steak with three different starters, and for dinner try their Domestic Beef Steak Course meal where you can choose your favorite cut of meat. They offer a special private dining room, Kawasemi (Kingfisher), which requires advance reservation.

    A lovely building and location and covid-safety taken seriously. Kind of wanted more local food but no complaints

    気になりながら数年… 初めて行く機会がありました。 タッチパネルで注文したら、すぐに出てきます。 ハラミ ミノ 塩タン・ネギ塩タン カルビ などを注文しました。 どれも、普通かな… 値段も含めて感想を言うと、 また今度は来ないかな？ という感じでした。 どれも噛みごたえがあります(^_^;)

    土曜夜に訪問。古民家を利用した内装はシックで落ち着いた感じ。頼んだ料理はどれも美味しかったです。美観地区から少し離れているせいか、調べた他のレストランに比べて値段もリーズナブルでコスパ良かったです。観光客より地元利用が多そうでした。
