    "This day-trip hot spring facility is a natural carbonate spring that is rare in Japan. It is said that it warms bodies from the core and is said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, joint pain, digestive diseases and skin diseases. In addition to the standard baths, you can enjoy a medicinal bath, tsuboyu ""jar"" baths constantly replenished ""kakenagashi"" style, and sauna. You can also eat meals at the adjoining restaurant without using the hot spring facilities. There are side dishes such as rice balls, noodles, minced meat cutlets and fried chicken, as well as rice bowls using local ingredients, daily set meals and a set with items chosen by the chef. You can enjoy it leisurely after bathing."

    すれ違いができないような細い道を通ってたどり着く温泉施設です。 とても雰囲気があってゆっくりできます。小さめな施設ですが、浴槽の種類も多くありました。 これからも近くにきた際には立ち寄りたいです。

    A Kominka café&bar built over 100 years ago on the theme of local production-local consumption, Roan is a comfortable place to be and well represents the Japanese modern style. The variety of drinks available is striking, with a large number of umeshu (plum wines) from each region in Japan. The All-you-can-drink course is good deal, as you can try local sake and “kametsubo-jikomi” shochu.

    "This restaurant is about three minutes from the Nima - Iwami Ginzan Interchange off the San'in Expressway. They offer seafood fresh from the local fishing harbor, bought at the fish market only two hundred meters from the restaurant by the restaurant's owner himself. They are famous for selected local Shimane ingredients in their ""Shimane Kyodo-ryori Hometown Cooking."" From fall into spring the recommended menu is Iriyaki hot pot, uses entire angler fish as big as 10kg or more. This fisherman's meal is served with a secret sauce and without any vegetables, and tastes exceptionally good. On winter nights when the angler fish are in season, there are days you can see the hanging angler fish being skillfully cut."

    値段の割には全然美味しくない。これなら浜田市や山口へ行って食べたほうがはるかに良い。この土地の人はありがたがるそうだが、バカバカしくて話にならない。

    This restaurant is at the entrance to Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine. In 1972, town volunteers gathered money to remodel the Edo period silver mine managerial and administrative Kumagai family sake brewery into a restaurant. There is terrace seating facing the silver mine side, offering a relaxing time amidst the sound of the river below. They offer house-made, firm textured soba, rice bowls, and set meals in their full menu. Since there is an elevator installed, anyone can go up and enjoy the spacious second floor, as well. The view is beautiful through all four seasons, with the cherry blossoms in spring and the gingko leaves in fall being highlights.

    石見銀山遺跡に出かけました。駅前は蕎麦屋さんと法律関係の図書館に入る喫茶店しかなく、駅から7分。大きな道路沿いに見つけました。 接客は丁寧で、ネタは新鮮で美味しく、大満足でした。

    大田市に有る料理やさんです。主にコース料理ですが、3000円-5000円くらいの料理を頼みます。前菜から始まり締めはそばで締めますが料理は美味しいと思います。 気軽に家族で伺うのが良いと思います。

    バス便乗継ぎの際に利用しました。至って一般的な 広島風お好み焼きのお店です。夜の川本は店仕舞いの早いところが多く、貴重な存在かと思います。

    廃線まじかの三江線に乗り、途中駅の石見川本でのランチで利用しました。地酒・池月とともにいただいたランチのお寿司セットはかなりリーズナブルだと思います。三江線の絵柄の領収書も嬉しかったです。

What Shimane prefecture lacks in size and population, it makes up for in scenery and ancient mythology.
