    This longstanding Japanese confectionary shop was established in 1880. Inside a clean-looking establishment, the shop makes and sells Utsubuki Koen Dango dumplings, one of Kurayoshi City's most well-known confections. The dumplings are made with local refined rice flour and come in three colors/flavors: white white otebo bean paste, red azuki bean paste, and matcha green tea paste. In spite of their plain and simple appearance, these traditional treats have a rich flavor and are also made without the use of any additives whatsoever. The dumplings only keep for three days; meanwhile the shop's Oshidori no Chigiri, a dried confection created out of a desire to add a longer-lasting dried confection to the shop's lineup, are also popular. Customers can enjoy the shop's confections along with a cup of tea in the in-shop cafe space.

    A long-established soy sauce maker founded in 1877 in Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture. The shop is housed in Akagawara Roku-gokan (Red Roofed Building No. 6), a Kyoto style merchant housing which oozes history. Further inside the earthen floored shop is the factory where the soy sauce is made. Here you can see the traditional way in which the soy sauce is carefully stored. Their soy sauce tastefully packaged inside ceramic pots inspired by the look of the storehouses, which typify the region, and their sweets made with soy sauce like their soy sauce ice-cream, are popular with the tourists.

    倉吉の白壁土蔵のまち。ことらは、本町通りの中心部にある、明治10年創業の老舗醤油屋さん。店先で醤油が売られているほか、しょうゆアイスも販売されています。

    This is a souvenir shop in a group of white walled warehouses in 1 Chome Shinmachi, Kurayoshi City. The shop sells local specialties including sake, food, and handicrafts. In addition, there is renovated soy sauce storehouse built in the Taisho period used as a shop, and one of the highlights is the original exterior appearance and internal structure of that time.

    倉吉の白壁土蔵のまち。こちらは、大正時代に建てられた醤油の仕込み蔵を改装したもので、お土産屋さんと、ショップが入っています。天井の小屋組が見事です。

    The main retail outlet of the Gensui Shuzou sake brewery is located in a corner of the famous Kurayoshi white-walled storehouse district in Higashinaka Town, Kurayoshi City. The sakes on sale include Daigin-jo (Top Quality Sake) Tobinkakoi, which has won numerous awards including the Tottori Prefecture Sake Brewers’ Association Prefectural Governor’s Award, etc., Shirakabe-Dozo, Akagawara, etc.

    白壁土蔵エリア訪問時に最初に目に付いたお店がこちらです。 昔ながらの風情を感じる店構え（店内も）に日本酒販売と このエリアにピッタリなお店です。 是非店員さんに相談してお好みのお酒を購入されてください。 日本酒ケーキにもとてもそそられました。

    Fujii Shuzo is a sake brewery located in the Misasa Onsen (hot springs) district of Misasa Town, Tohaku County; the brewery was founded in 1669. Fujii Shuzo produces several famous sake varieties, including “Misasa Masamune,” “Hakuro,” and “Mitoku-zakura,” and its “Hakuro Koshu Genshu 1996” won a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge 2010, winning praise for the way it improves with age.

    This taiyaki fish-shaped cake shop is practically the first establishment anyone who lives in Kurayoshi will name when asked about Taiyaki. The shop sells taiyaki roasted the old fashioned way one cake at a time in individual iron molds. While taiyaki are usually a gold-brown in color, this shop's taiyaki are white. Stuffed with lightly sweet bean paste filling, they have a thin outer crust that is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The shop also has tables inside where you can enjoy your taiyaki on the spot. Many of the shop's customers buy large quantities to take home and enjoy, and/or are frequent buyers who come here from far and wide.

    倉吉の白壁土蔵群を散策した際に利用。小さなお店ですが、行列ができていて、すぐにわかりました。極うす皮のたい焼きで、餡の味が際立ちます。できたてのあつあつがいただけます。

The market carries an abundant selection of seasonal vegetables, fruits, meats, rice, and more; as everything is reasonably priced, the market is also an essential part of the lives of local residents. The market also often offers many samples of seasonal fruits, giving you the chance to experience their superb taste before you buy.

    A farmer's market at Roadside Station Port Akasaki on National Route 9. They mainly sell fresh produce raised in the vicinity of Mt. Daisen. As the surrounding area is famous for its pears, they have many varieties available in summer and fall. Since the seasons of the various types overlap, there are always pears available until early spring. The spacious parking lot and the environment means it sees lots of locals and tourists coming from afar who stop in for a break. Popular events bringing producers and consumers together are held several times a year.

    A shop on Onsen Hondori Street about 20 minutes by car from Kurayoshi Station on the JR San-in Main Line that sells dagashi candies and handmade accessories. The old-school sweets bring back a feeling of childhood and are perfect for a walk around Misasa. The old-fashioned shop facing the Mitoku River is popular with local kids, grown-ups, and tourists alike. There are also Japanese inns, a museum, and a variety store in the area, giving it the retro feel of a real hot spring town.

    温泉本通にある駄菓子屋さんでした。店内をうかがうと一寸興味を惹かれる品揃えでしたが、温泉土産となると違うような気もしました。間口は広く入り易い店でもあり若い女性グループや家族連れの立寄りが目立っていました。

With a full range of vegetables, prepared products, and meat items, the farmer's market is an essential place for the locals. Yurihama Town produces the greatest quantity of Nijisseiki pears in Japan. The shop's sweets section is always crowded with customers. Besides fresh fruit like Tottori strawberries and Tomari watermelon, their Tohaku Wagyu beef is popular; it's said to be the predecessor of other Japanese national beef brands.

    Tottori Tohaku-gun Hokueicho Yurashuku 1414

    いわゆるひとつのミュージアムショップで、ふるさと館に併設されています。ここだけのオリジナルグッズもあり、またデザインも時流に合わせて普段使いしやすいものも多く、使うことを想定しながらいろいろおみやげを選ぶ時間は楽しいです。自分用にボールペンとステッカーを購入しました。

    鳥取県での宿泊した際、鳥取クーポンをいただいたので、買い物で寄りました。 名前の通り倉吉駅の正面右横にあるお店で、お土産品など揃っています。 試しに鳥取県の赤ワイン(北条ワイン)二本を買いました。一本はホージョーワインヌーボーにしてみました。 つれあいは、砂丘長芋焼酎、らっきょう、二十世紀梨チューハイなどを買っていました。 駅チカで駐車場もあり、買い物に便利なお店でした。

    ドライブの途中で寄りました。様々なメニューがありましたし、地元の品々も売っていました。岩ガキが６００円からあり、ひらまさも美味しそうでした。

    白壁土蔵群の中では異彩な完全洋風の建造物です。 草木染と雑貨の店「和」の店舗だったようですが、2019年9月現在閉鎖されていました。 昭和6年、日本産業貯蓄銀行という山陰地方の小規模銀行の倉吉支店として建造されたもので、間口2間ほどですが、当時流行したセセッションと言われる幾何学的なアールデコ風の装飾を主体にした意匠が素敵です。 市内に残る唯一の歴史的洋風建造物のようです。
