This is a temple established at 900 meters height situated in Mt. Mitoku. The building is built protruding from a steep cliff wall, and is designated as a National Treasure. The mountain road to the temple is extremely dangerous with many accidents so please take care. It is recommended that you view the temple from the “Nageiredo” distant worship spot in the mountain foothills.

The temple's principal object of worship is a statue of Avalokitesvara which records state a son had made to pray for the happiness of his father after his death. Also known as the ""Wisteria Temple,"" the temple is famous for its beautiful wisteria. "Shirakabe traditional warehouse district of Kurayoshi City is located around 40 minutes' drive from either the Yubara Interchange or the Hiruzen Interchange of the Yonago Expressway. Known as ""Little Kyoto"" because of its elegant appearance, the warehouse district has traditional white-walled warehouse buildings and stone bridges crossing the Tamagawa River that flows through the city, creating a magical retro atmosphere; this is one of the most Important Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Most of the warehouse buildings-which combine black walls made from burnt cedar wood with white wall plaster and red Sesshu tiled roofs-were built in the Edo period (1603-1868) or the Meiji period (1868-1912). Several of the warehouses have been refurbished inside, such as Akagawara Ichigokan (which now houses several first-rate shops selling local specialty products); others are now used as cafes, art galleries, etc."

Which one is the men's area and which the women's alternates on a weekly basis; each area is outfitted with a large bath, jacuzzi, low temperature sauna, and other facilities. Customers rave about the skin beautifying properties of the bathhouse' spring and say that bathing in their waters for just five minutes will leave your skin silky smooth.

Originally quite small, in 1883 the shrine was rebuilt and became one of the largest in Tottori prefecture. Some 400 Yoshino cherries have been planted along the approach to the shrine, and when they come into bloom in spring they form a veritable tunnel of cherry blossoms. The shrine is dedicated to the souls of Nawa Nagatoshi and 42 others who went to rescue Emperor Go-Daigo from the Oki Islands and fought hard for their ruler in the Nanbokucho period.
