This tourist strawberry farm is located about a 10-minute walk from Kanroji-Mae Station on the Wakayama Electric Railway Kishigawa Line. The farm utilizes rotating elevated planters to assure that their strawberries remain clean and free of dirt. These planters can be rotated into a position low enough to allow even small children to enjoy picking strawberries. The wheelchair-accessible farm grows three varieties of strawberry: Sachinoka, Benihoppe, and Marihime. Strawberry picking is offered by reservation from early January to mid-May. Guests can enjoy eating all the strawberries they can pick for 45 minutes and even make their own original strawberry parfait.

From March to May, this place is suitable for harvesting a lot of fruit. I spent about 45 minutes here, not far from the train station. You can walk or use the bike to see the scenery along the way...

Enjoy Kurosawa Highland, their short golf course, to your heart's content even if you come alone.

Some of the decorative patterns available to choose from include cherry blossoms, butterflies, and goldfish. Wakayama Areas

Wakayama prefecture unites pilgrims, food lovers, and culture buffs in a tranquil corner of Japan at the base of the Kii Peninsula. The setting for many a Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail, Wakayama invites those in search of spirituality from one side of the prefecture to the other, from the 100-plus Buddhist temples of the sacred Mount Koya in the west to the inspiring temples of the Kumano Sanzan set among breathtaking nature in the east. Once the grueling hike is complete, make a beeline for Wakayama city to savor some of the country’s most delicious ramen noodles.
