    This shop specializing in persimmon leaf sushi is just a little south of Sanada-an and the Sanada Burial Mound. It's been featured in the media on many occasions. Kudoyama-cho is a famous persimmon growing area, and persimmon leaf sushi was first created in the region of the upper Kinokawa River. They sell three kinds: mackerel, salmon, and shiitake mushroom. You need to place orders for the salmon and shiitake mushroom varieties at least a day in advance. They serve saketoba salmon jerky and stewed salmon as well, dishes that go great with rice and beer. They hold workshops four days a week. The shop opens at 8:00 in the morning closes as soon as they are sold out.

    This restaurant specializes in Kakinoha-sushi (persimmon leaf sushi), a regional dish of northern Wakayama Prefecture. It is located a five-minute walk from JR Kokawa Station or a 30-minute drive from the Sennan Interchange on the Hanwa Expressway along Prefectural Route 63. Each piece is carefully handmade one at a time without the use of preservatives or additives. Their classic kakinoha-sushi features mackerel on sushi rice made with a secret blend of vinegar wrapped up in a persimmon leaf. We also recommend their jako-sushi (dried young sardines sushi), a dish unique to this area. Another popular offering is their ayu-sushi (sweetfish sushi), which features a whole sweetfish served on sushi rice.

    お盆に、久しぶりに柿の葉寿司が食べたいなと思い、鮭と鯖の二種類が入ったのを買いましたが、期待を裏切らなく美味しかったです！ 母も柿の葉寿司を食べられて満足してました！ 夏バテで体が疲れ気味の時でも、あっさりとしてますし、お酢が使われてるので食べやすいと思います。 オススメです！

    平均的な居酒屋ですが、大将からスタッフまでみなさん気持ちのいい笑顔です。 「アテ」はきっちり調理されています。カウンターから座敷までどんな人数でもＯＫです。最寄の御幸辻まで歩いて１キロ強と少し遠いですが、田舎ではいい方です。

    昼食で伺いました。 藤左ヱ門セットを注文、握り寿司１０巻と赤だし、小鉢一品がまず提供されます。 食事が終了すると、飲み物(コーヒー等、選べます）+小さな自家製プリンが出てきます。これで、税抜き８８０円とは、驚きのコストパフォーマンス。 当日の寿司の種類は、入り口に表示しています。まずまずのおいしさ。 デザートのプリンが、非常においしく、寿司屋のレベルのものではない。 再訪有。

    この辺りは柿の葉寿司が有名のようで、いろんな所で売っています。しかし、ここは店内で食事が出来るスペースがあり サービスランチ(1000円)を食べることが出来ました。内容は、握り寿司とおすまし、茶碗蒸しと小鉢です。また近くに行った際は行きたいと思います。
