    Kaiseki-ryori (traditional Japanese multi-course meal) restaurant located near JR Wakayama Station. Not only the food, but also the interior decoration is made with local Wakayama products, from the tables and shelves to the clay walls made of Wakayama soil, and floorboards made of cypress or cedar, all from Wakayama. Because we carefully select seasonal ingredients, many of our menu items are limited in time and quantity, so you can enjoy dishes that are unique to the season. A variety of single dishes such as salad and deep-fried dishes are also available. The original ponzu vinegar used at the restaurant is also available for sale.

    人気の和食屋さんとの事で、日曜日のランチを予約して入店。メニューは豊富で、平日だと千円から頂けます。この日は「うな重御膳」2,300円を頂きました。鰻はまずまずのボリュームで、お味噌汁に付け合わせと食後のドリンクとスイーツ盛り合わせまでが含まれているので、コスパも悪くないです。お奨めのお店です！

    This kaiseki restaurant is located about a ten-minute walk from JR Kainan Station. The venerable Japanese restaurant first opened in 1933 and has been even been covered in the media. In addition to private rooms, the restaurant also offers table seating and counter seating. The counter is especially popular with guests for its view of the courtyard. We also recommend their lunch menu, which allows guests to casually enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine at reasonable prices.

    海南駅から徒歩圏内(10分ぐらい) 国道42号線沿い日方川近くに有る本格割烹です。 庭園を見ながら食事に最適でしょう。

    This restaurant is located in front of the car park on the left-hand side of Kushimoto Fishing Port. It mainly serves seafood dishes such as sashimi and sushi. The tuna sushi is based on Mehari-zushi, which is a local dish of Wakayama Prefecture, and so uses pickled Takana mustard leaves instead of the usual dried seaweed. It is one of the stores where customers can eat the local gourmet dish, Kushimoto Tuna Shabu-shabu Gozen, which is made with a bounty of bluefin tuna raised purely in Kushimoto.

    美味しいので串本に行けば必ず行く店です。新鮮な刺身、天婦羅、煮物など全体的にお勧めできます。ただ観光地なので少し割高に感じますが仕方がないかと思います。

Here in this Japanese restaurant you can enjoy cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients from Wakayama, including superbly fresh seafood and vegetables, carefully chosen by the head chef. The restaurant's magnificent cuisine is not only delicious but its exquisite presentation and mouth-watering aromas make it a feast for all five senses. The contents of the menu changes with the seasons, and customers can experience delightful, colorful choices such as the dazzling Mari Bento; a spiny lobster burger limited to just three customers a day which is made with a whole spiny lobster; and a variety of traditional kaiseki course meals. The establishment is the perfect place for happy occasions, family celebration, memorial services, business entertainment, group meals, and all manner of engagements.

    ＪＲ和歌山駅の隣という感じです。駐車場もあり便利です。個室に案内されましたが、堀こたつ式なので足が楽でした。お昼に「うな丼」2800円をいただきました。皮がパリッと焼けていて、身がふっくらした感じに仕上がっています。タレも甘すぎずてとても美味しくて食べやすいものでした。日本料理店らしい細かな心遣いとおもてなしで、気持ちよく食事を済ますことができました。

    初めて訪問したところ当店は予約制で一見は駄目と断られた。二度と行きたくない。店自体は割烹を謳っているだけあって高級車がよく止まっている。

    行列ができるお店「くまの」の2階にありますが、こちらは行列もなくて、ゆっくりくつろげるお店。店員さんが恐ろしく不慣れで愛想も何もありませんが、美味しかったのとゆっくりできたのでまあ満足できました。数台だけですが駐車場もあります。

    アロチにある老舗のレストラン。２Fはコース料理やアラカルトの居酒屋で、１Fは夜になるとうどん、丼ものを提供しています。2次会のあとにお腹がすいていたので、うどんを頂きました。こしのあるうどんでおいしかったです。
