    This cafe located in Oka of Asuka Village, Takaichi County is run from a renovated sake brewery with close to 200 years of history. They offer their Kotodama Lunch based around fresh Asuka Village vegetables which changes every other week, and sweets including cakes and shaved ice made with Asuka Village fruits. Be aware that the only meal available is the Kotodama Lunch which is limited in supply.

    This café in Asuka Village, Takaichi County, Nara, is situated across the street from the Asuka Village Office. Located in a remodeled classical styled house that exudes the taste of the former capital the shop has large windows and a relaxed atmosphere. In the rear garden you can sit on the terrace and look over Amakashi no oka hill and the site of the former Asuka Itabuki-no-miya palace. Carefully selected beans are roasted in house and the resulting hand dripped coffee is distinguished by its strong aroma and refreshing aftertaste. Along with their café menu they have a popular food menu with dishes such as Hainanese chicken rice.

    This is a cafe inside Café & Pension ASUKA located around a three-minute walk from Asuka Station. For lunch they serve dishes including curry with nutritious black rice and hayashi rice (hashed meat with rice) topped with a fluffy egg. The Hidamari Cafe Lunch, their most popular offering which changes every two weeks, is a set accompanied by several side dishes made from local vegetables, a dessert and drink.

    This old-fashioned cafe has been in business in Nara's Asuka for 40 years. Continuing to serve carefully crafted siphon drip coffee the same as when it first opened, each cup is diligently brewed one at a time to order. Made using full-bodied, charcoal-roasted beans with just the right amount of bitterness, the cafe's coffee is highly aromatic. The cafe also offers a full array of breakfast set meals, desserts, and other foods.

    外見は黒い瓦屋根と白い漆喰壁の土蔵風で、店内もレトロで落ち着いた雰囲気です。平日の昼前でしたが、モーニングサービスが12時までなのでオーダーしました。厚めのトースト、キャベツのサラダ、ハム、ゆで卵も付いてそれなりにボリュームがあります。サイフォンで淹れてくれるコーヒーもスッキリして美味でした。640円なのでコスパは普通です。
