Located at an elevation of 550 m above Shatorogawadaira, selected as one of the 100 best sightseeing spots in Hyogo Prefecture, this educational center is the largest of its kind in western Japan, covering 127 hectares, and offers an outdoor theater, field athletic facilities, campsites, and other facilities to enjoy nature to the fullest. It is also the site of a nature school for fifth graders of local public elementary schools.

A 10-minute walk from Hamasaka Station, this one-day spa facility is located across the road from Hamasaka Onsen Onsen Tower on the left, and has a large hall, a laboratory, a training room, etc. The main attraction is that you can enjoy natural hot spring baths to your heart's content, including a large soaking bath, a vibratory bath, and a jet bath. A hot spring egg-boiling area is located in the parking lot, where visitors can boil eggs purchased separately in baskets inside the facility.

駅から街中を徒歩10分ほど。地方によくある公営のお風呂ですが、ここは特に広く、中はガラガラで、さらに風呂上がりにはお茶が無料で出てアイスも安くて最高でした。18きっぷ旅の途中で立ち寄るのにも最適です。

"A Shinto shrine located in Miyauchi Izushi-cho, Toyooka City. The shrine is dedicated to Prince Amenohiboko, who, according to legend, came here from the Korean Peninsula and cultivated the land of Tajima and who has been worshipped as the man who developed Tajima since ancient times. The highest ranked shrine in Tajima, it is also known as ""Ikkyu-san,"" a play on the readings of the characters used to write ""Ichinomiya,"" the Japanese term for a top ranked shrine."

Hyogo Mikata-gun Kamicho Kasumi-ku Shimonohama 599

Located about 5 minutes by bus from Kozumi Station or about 60 minutes by car from the Yoka-Hinoyama Interchange, this temple on the north side of the Shimohama intersection has a long history, having been rebuilt in 702 by Dosho, the founder of the Hoso sect of Zen Buddhism. The garden was created in the Edo period and is said to have been designed by Enshu Kobori, who was active in multiple fields including the tea ceremony.

この寺の、本尊帝釈天は聖徳太子が自らお刻みになった尊像と伝えられており、歴史のある寺院です。本堂は建立年代は不明ですが、天文年間頃の16 世紀中期と考えられる。兵庫県の重要有形文化財に指定されています。宝形造の五間堂です。

This factory and shop on National Route 312 in Ichimido, Wadayama-cho, Asago City deals in senbei rice crackers featuring the bounty of the mountains and sea. These include their Takoyakisen crackers inspired by octopus dumplings, and Gokujo Ebisen with a rich shrimp flavor. You can try everything they have on offer at their tasting corner, they have free factory tours, and there's a break area with a free coffee service. Their Shunsai Ichiba Tajima market sells vegetables and more.

This soba buckwheat noodle shop is located on Prefectural Route 253 in Machibun, Izushi-cho, Toyooka City. They serve hand-made soba made with carefully selected domestic buckwheat flour from their retro modern space in a kominka (old Japanese-style house). In addition to the local favorite Izushi Sara Soba, they serve noodles in a hot broth, noodles with broth poured over them, and soba noodles made from 100% buckwheat flour that need to be ordered in advance.

The beach is about 10 minutes by car from Kozumi Station and about 55 minutes from the Hidaka-Kannabe Kogen IC, and is located northwest along the coastal road near the footprint fossils and stream trace fossils from the Kozumi Onsen ryokan area. The beach is also popular with children because of its shallow waters and the spectacular view of Tajima Matsushima offshore.

旅行の帰りにお土産を買おうと立ち寄り、試食をしながらお菓子を選んでいたら、無愛想な男の店員が女性の店員に、子供が来たから試食を隠すように指示。女性定員は指示通り試食をほぼ隠しました。この行為に本当に不愉快な思いをさせられました。だった初めから試食ださなければいいのに。海の駅ですよ。家族連れが来ないわけがないでしょ？二度と行きませんし、友達にはすすめません。

The museum is located in the Hatta Community Center at the intersection of National Route 9 and Prefectural Route 262 along the Kishida River. The fossils are all small, but they are displayed with magnifying glasses so that visitors can look at them in detail, and panels and three-dimensional images are used to make them easier for children to understand.

昆虫化石は小さなものが多いのですが、一品一品にルーペが備え付けられていますので十分観察はできます。全体に展示物が少ないように感じましたが入館料１００円を考えると十分な気がしました。また、美方郡新温泉町が昆虫化石の宝庫だったなんて訪れるまでは知りませんでした。国道９号線から脇道に入って、ほんとうに直ぐのところです。ぜひ、立ち寄ってください。
