    An observatory located close to the Hoden Gate and the Ashiya Gate on the Royu Driveway. A part of Setonaikai National Park, the observatory has been selected for inclusion in a list of Japan's 100 most beautiful night views due to the splendor of the city lights and starry sky visible from its location 645 meters above sea level. Used to film scenes for television dramas, visitors are also encouraged to enjoy a sunrise or sunset from the observatory. The observatory's most attractive feature is its expansive panoramic view which encompasses Osaka International Airport, Kansai International Airport, Awaji Island, Tomogashima Island, and the western Kansai region. A cafe operates at the observatory on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays and offers takeout. Visitors can also pick up tourism pamphlets here.

    This facility is a 15-minute walk from the JR Kobe Line's Nishinomiya Station on historic Sakagura-dori Street. Visitors can join in tastings of freshly brewed unprocessed sake and dine on seasonal Japanese fare. The restaurant serves full-fledged kaiseki banquet cuisine featuring seasonal ingredients and is also available for parties and banquets. The facility has a specialty shop and a glassware studio too, with items that are available nowhere else. The glassware studio holds hands-on workshops like glassblowing and sandblasting that the staff help make an experience to remember.

A special panel exhibition introducing anecdotes about Chikamatsu and volunteer guides are also available."

    阪急塚口駅から南東方向にありますが、ちょっと距離があります。スマホ片手に道を探しながら歩きました。近松公園には、近松門左衛門の座像があり、その横に記念館があります。使っていた文机、過去帳などの遺品が多く展示されています。周辺は回遊式の庭園ですので、散歩するのもよいと思います。またお隣の広済寺は近松が建立に力を注ぎ、近松の墓も境内にあります。

    This art museum is located a 13-minute drive from JR Sakura Shukugawa Station. The museum, which features a blue and green tile exterior inspired by the architecture of the famous Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi, exhibits a collection with a focus on ivory carving. The centerpiece of the museum's collection of around 500 works of ivory carving is the ivory sculpture of Himeji Castle displayed on the first floor of the museum. Measuring 250 centimeters wide, 150 centimeters long, and 190 centimeters tall, and weighing 155 kilograms, it is the world's largest ivory carving. The sculpture faithfully recreates Himeji Castle in 1:50 scale using lavish amounts of fine ivory.

    11月に甲山近辺を散策した時に立ち寄りました。甲山墓園の近くアガペ甲山病院に隣接した美術館です。館内には象牙細工が沢山ありました。その多さにビックリです。日光東照宮の模型も素晴らしかった。ゆっくり時間をかけて見学したい美術館です。

In addition to the hot springs, there is a spa pool, fitness center, bedrock bath, body care, and esthetic salons.

    駅から近くて安藤忠雄設計の建物はオシャレ。女性専用の温水プール(ジャグジー等)があり、男性より少し高く1040円(2019年11月時点)。温泉も有馬温泉のように金泉・銀泉があり、金泉は浸透するそうで効果がありそう。確かに昼間に利用したのに夜まで暑いくらいポカポカでした。ただ、設備やサービスを考えると1000円は高いかな。地元のおばあちゃん常連さんが多かったです。

    Located in Kurakuen, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, this museum opened in 1993. The facility contains about 360 music boxes, mechanical instruments, and other items on display collected and donated by Mitsuo Horie during his lifetime. Most were collected in Europe and America throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, and there are also some precious items, such as a cylindrical music box beloved by Nicholas II of Russia. Reservations are required for entry. Three tours of about an hour each are offered daily, allowing visitors to learn about the history of music boxes and enjoy their wonderful tunes.

    アクセスは あまり良くないが よく調べていくこと。 団体しか入れない日もあるので。季節の良い時期が いい。 バスも阪急やJR芦屋からもある。演奏時刻も3回。

    This Buddhist temple is about 10 minutes by taxi from Hankyu Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Station. One of Japan's three Yakujin temples, it enshrines Yakujin Myoo, who is said to ward off all misfortune. Features besides the front gate which was completely destroyed by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and then rebuilt include an inner tower gate and the Yakujindo sub-shrine. Besides Yakujin Myoo, the temple also honors Fudo Myoo, Aizen Myoo, Daikokuten, the principal object of worship Yakushi Ruriko Nyorai, and Kukai, later known as Kobo Daishi, the founder of Shingon sect of Buddhism. The spacious precincts feature an area with sand from each of the stops on Shikoku's 88 Temple Pilgrimage along with representations of their principle objects of worship, giving you a chance to replicate the pilgrimage with ease.

    This green park stretches for nearly four kilometers along the Shukugawa River in Nishinomiya City. 1,000 cherry trees were planted there in 1949, and it's been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Sites. Various events are held during the Nishinomiya Sakura Matsuri Festival, held every April when the trees are in bloom. Outside of cherry blossom season, there are other flowers like Japanese irises, lotuses, and roses that visitors enjoy in season.

    A Jodo Shinshu Honganji-ha Buddhist temple located next to Kamimiyagawa Park a four-minute walk from Ashiya Station. The temple has Japanese and Western-style conference rooms and a hall capable of accommodating 150 and the conference rooms can be used for club activities and rented for meetings. The temple can also provide lodging. In addition, there is a funeral home facility which can accommodate family and small-scale funerals as well as larger funerals of up to 100 guests. The temple's chief priest is also active as a singer and has appeared on television.

    静かなたたずまいが素敵な場所です。まわりも落ち着いていて、風情がありいいですね。ちょっと寄ってみると素敵。

    The bathhouse is located just south of the Amagasaki PA and can be seen on the left hand side as soon as you turn west from the Tsukijihonmachi 1 intersection. The men's and women's baths change daily and include an open-air bath, sauna, esthetic bath, etc. The rest area also offers udon and soba noodles, soft-serve ice cream, and other snacks.

    阪神尼崎駅から南に徒歩15分ほど。住宅街の中にある温泉銭湯。単純温泉が内湯と露天にかけ流しされています。ロビーで ビールや軽く食事もとれます。入浴料430円。

    芦屋川駅から徒歩5分くらいの場所にあります。江戸時代の矢立(筆入れ)をコレクションする美術館です。七宝や蒔絵などで装飾された矢立も含めて様々な矢立が約150点展示されています。日本唯一の矢立の美術館です。また、矢立以外にも、根付、煙草入、髪油壺などの江戸時代の美術工芸品が多数展示されています。

    This park is in 5 Chome, Tano, Amagasaki City. Besides their seasonal flower garden area with sunflowers, cosmos, and rape blossoms, there's a rose garden, a peony garden, an iris field, and a hydrangea planting. In spring 20 varieties of cherry come into bloom including Yaebeni weeping cherry trees. Local farmers sell their vegetables at the park's Rotary Square.

    尼崎市農業公園は、猪名寺駅から徒歩20分くらいのところにある大きな農業公園です。5月中旬に行ったところ沢山のばらが咲き乱れていました。大輪、房咲、つるバラなどいろいろな種類のバラが100種類3000本あるとのことです。美しい花を楽しむことができます。これからのシーズンは紫外線対策も必要です。

The park was developed in and around Koshienhama Beach, one of the few places in the Hanshinkan that retains an untouched natural setting. The park is divided into four areas. The Imazuhama Area features a large slide and a free multipurpose square. The Hama Area features outdoor exercise equipment and a free multipurpose square. At the Oki Area, park-goers can enjoy playing on the beach and in the water. It also features a surfer spot and a barbecuing space. The Furusato Kaigan Area, meanwhile, features a natural sand beach and tidal flats. Park-goers can freely move between the areas as suits their needs."

    広い公園です。ビーチもなかなか素晴らしく、甲羅干しをしている人もいました。都市近郊のピクニックスポットとして、風光明媚で落ち着いた場所でした。

    The museum is located in the precincts of Seiarajinji Temple, a 15-minute walk from Hankyu Seiarajin Station. 2000 pieces of Tessai Tomioka's masterpieces from his later years are in the collection, including paintings, calligraphy, vessels on which he painted, and handmade ceramics. The museum has been closed since November 26, 2008, for the purpose of reorganizing the collection.

    富岡鉄斎の作品を貯蔵している清荒神清澄寺の聖光殿では、鉄斎の旅をつづった展示を開催していました。貴重な品は一見の価値がありました。

Besides public facilities such as the Hankyu Tsukaguchi Service Center and a community hall, there are also many restaurants. There are also stores that offer women's clothing and household goods. Other main features of the facility include the ample amounts of services relevant to daily life such as the movie theater Tsukaguchi Sun Sun Theater, travel agencies and classrooms.
