About 180 years ago, fishermen near the shore planted narcissus bulbs on the mountain and proliferated profusely, making it one of Japan's three largest fields. Mainly consisting of single-flowered wild Japanese narcissus, you can watch them along the promenade. The contrast between the lemon-yellow narcissuses and blue ocean from the observation deck is superb. They ordinarily bloom from late December to around late February.
