    This hot spring bathhouse is located the inside of Shiawase no Mura, a comprehensive welfare complex with rows of buildings with red roofs and white walls evocative of Southern Europe. It is equipped with a total of 10 varieties of baths including whirlpool baths and cascade baths. The simple and mildly radioactive springs are said to help with conditions including nerve pain, muscle soreness, and women's diseases. There is even special caretaking bathroom with a bathtub that can be entered via a slope while seated in a bathing wheelchair, allowing the whole family to spend time relaxing together.

    This hot spring said to have first been opened in 1905 is located about 10 minutes from Ozo Interchange on the Rokko North Toll Road. The bathhouse is fully equipped with large baths, outdoor baths, salt saunas, powerful whirlpool baths, and more. The baths are all fed from weakly alkaline simple sulfur springs popular for the slippery feeling on the skin they give you the instant you enter the water. The Japanese-style Enmei no Yu and western-style Juju no Yu bathhouses are rotated between the genders on even and odd-numbered days. The outdoor baths, which are surrounded by tranquil natural setting, offer bathers the chance to relax away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

    This hot spring bathhouse with exclusive access to a natural hot spring was established in 1960. Guests at the facility, which can be identified by its refined Japanese-style exterior, can enjoy baths fed by copious amounts of natural free-flowing hot spring water. The bathhouse, unified in Japanese Modern all throughout its interior, is equipped with natural hot springs as well as Japanese Garden-style outdoor baths. This simple atmosphere has earned the bathhouse a reputation of never getting bored even no matter how many times you come. The fine sodium hydrogen carbonate and chloride hot springs are known for their beautifying effects. The bathhouse is within walking distance of Koshien Stadium, so many people visit after watching a night game at the stadium.

    A 15-minute drive from the Sumoto Interchange on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway, this health promotion facility offers two bathhouses that change daily: the Western-style "Yuzuruha no Yu" named after the Yuzuruha tree and Mount Yuzuruha, which is said to bring good luck, and the Japanese-style "Onokoro no Yu" named after Onokoro Shrine, the mythical place of the birth of the nation. The soft, clear, colorless water has alkaline simple hot spring water and sodium bicarbonate hot spring water.

    Located about 15 minutes by car from the Seitan Mihara IC on the Kobe-Awaji Naruto Expressway, this free footbath is adjacent to the Uzushio Dome Nanairo Kan in Roadside Station Fukura located in Fukura Bay at the southern tip of Awaji Island. The sodium bicarbonate hot spring is said to be effective for neuralgia, muscular pain, joint pain, and relief from fatigue.

    The front of the building, with its karahafu roof and the circular bathtub in the center of the bathroom, are rare among the few remaining bathhouses today. The bathhouse and changing rooms are decorated with mosaic tiles depicting Mt. Fuji and other mountains, and the water is heated in the old-fashioned style using scrap wood and firewood in the kettle.

    The bathhouse can be seen on the left side of the road when you walk west along the Sanyo Shinkansen tracks at the Mukonoso 9-chome intersection. 70-car parking lot is available next to the bathhouse, making it easy to use even from long distances. There are also radon baths and radon steam baths, as well as a room-temperature swimming pool with a slide for children.
  • Fureai no Yu Footbath

    The footbaths are located at three locations along the Harurai River, not far from the Yumura Onsen hot spring. 7-meter-long benches are placed on either side of the footbaths, allowing visitors to relax, chat, and soak in the footbaths while enjoying the view of the Harurai River. The footbath is said to be effective in relieving tiredness in the feet and coldness in the body.

    A 25-minute bus ride from Hamasaka Station or a 50-minute drive from the Yoka-Hinoyama Interchange, this one-day hot spring facility is located on the left side of the road north of Arayu, the source of Yumura Onsen, and has an indoor and outdoor hot spring bath and sauna. The sodium-hydrogencarbonate-chloride-sulfate spring is said to be effective for neuralgia, muscular pain, and joint pain, etc. There are some contraindications, so please be careful.

    The footbath is located behind Yumechiyo-kan, which can be seen on the right side of Tenjin-dori Street going north from the west bank of Yumechiyo Bridge. The name of the bath, Aogiri no Yu, is based on the aogiri, which sprouted even after the atomic bombing, and a seedling of the aogiri grown from a seedling exposed to radiation has been planted nearby.

The isotonic chloride low-temperature hot spring is said to be effective for cuts and chronic skin diseases, etc. It is recommended for use after sea bathing in summer as well as winter.
