In addition to restaurants and fast food shops where visitors can enjoy gourmet from all around the world, the food theme park where you can eat and compare Takoyaki (octopus dumplings), a specialty of Osaka, is also popular. There are also many shops selling souvenirs of Osaka, busy with tourists on their way home from USJ. The nearest is Universal City Station.

    A swimming pool and ice-skating rink in Yahataya Park, in Osaka. It was moved from Ogimachi Park to Yahata Park in 1996, due to its deteriorating state. The two-story, circular building holds a 50-meter pool, approved by the Japan Swimming Federation, a diving pool and a 25-meter secondary pool. The main and diving pools are open from the beginning of May until the end of September, and the secondary pool is open all year round. In the winter, the main and diving pools are used for ice skating. Also open to beginners, are a variety of school programs including swimming, skating and stretching.
