    Osaka Osakashi Naniwa-ku Motomachi 2-9-19
This historic shrine in Naniwa is a six-minute walk from Namba Station or a seven-minute walk from Daikokuchou Station. It was known as an old shrine even during the era of Emperor Go-Sanjou (who reigned 1068-1072). Susanoo-no-Mikoto and his wife Kushinadahime are enshrined here, protecting people from evil, helping businesses prosper, and aiding in happy marriages. Three large festivals happen every spring, summer and fall. The summer festival happens every 13th and 14th of July with various events being performed. Also, every third Sunday of January a Shinto rope pulling ceremony is held, which was designated as Osaka's first Intangible Folk Cultural Property in 2001. There are also a variety of other shrines on the premises.

Compared to the other shrines this one is the most outstanding one! Definitely worth a visit. You can also collect a stamp here. The shrine is usually pretty busy with many tourists taking pictures.

Located on the 16th floor of the 300-meter-tall Abeno Harukas skyscraper, the Abeno Haruka Museum is a city-center art museum that takes full advantage of its location near a major terminal railway station. The Museum has no permanent exhibitions; instead, it holds several different thematic exhibitions every year, on themes relating to the cultural properties that are found near Kintetsu railway lines, East Asian art (including Japanese art), Western art, contemporary art, etc. The Museum occupies an entire floor of the Abeno Harukas building, giving it a spacious feel; as a great spot to take a break from shopping or sightseeing to admire art in a relaxing atmosphere, it has become a very popular art museum.

Visited during recent typhoon and everything else seemed to be closed. In tall building - exhibit was fantastic. Stayed for a coffee afterwards at the cafe with wonderful views of Osaka.

This shrine on Mt. Chausu is about 10 minutes' walk north of Tennoji Station, serving every line, and Kintetsu's Abeno Station. Built by Shotoku Taishi at the same time as Shintenno-ji Temple, it is counted among the 7 halls of Shintenno-ji. Long known in Osaka as home of a god who will grant one wish in your lifetime, recently it's also become popular as a spot to feel spiritual energy. This shrine was founded during Emperor Hanzei's reign (406-410) right in Saishoyama Park. This shrine is dedicated to three Shinto gods, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susanoo. It was once known as the Himeyama Shrine and was where people of Rikuzen Province once went to pray for the god of sealing wind, but has become more commonly known as Sanko Shrine in Miyagi District. In 1908 Himeyama-jinja Shrine and Sanko-jinja Shrine were merged, becoming Sanko-jinja Shrine. It's believed that Saishoyama was where Sanada Maru, a small fort of Osaka Castle, once stood.

This shrine is only a five-minute walk from the Higashi-Tengachaya Station on the Hankai Uemachi Line. Found in the Abeno district, the renown Onmyouji (diviner/sooth-sayer) Abe no Seimei is enshrined here. To sooth the spirit of Abe no Seimei, Emperor Ichijo ordered the shrine to be constructed on the grounds of the Seimei clan mansion in year 1007. In addition to a stone monument at the place of Abe no Seimei's birth and a bronze statue there is also the remnants of Ubuyui (a well made for his first birth), making this a must see for fans of Seimei. Many come to pray for blessings including those wishing to improve academically, those hoping to pass exams, and those wishing for safe childbirth. Every year a ceremony is held on September 26th, the anniversary of Seimei's passing.

"This Buddhist temple is located close to Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station in Yuhigaoka-cho, Tennoji Ward, Osaka City. Founded in 593 by Prince Shotoku, the prince is said to have read the Srimaladevi Simhanada Sutra to the common people and the temple enshrines a Srimala statue. A statue of Ragaraja, known as Aizen Myo'o in Japanese, was later enshrined in the main temple hall, and thus the temple is also nicknamed the ""Aizen-do"" and is believed to grant worshippers luck in finding love and marriage. The temple's two tier pagoda, rebuilt thanks to the mighty samurai lord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, has been designated a National Important Cultural Property. There is also a sacred tree on the grounds said to provide luck in love which served as the model for Matsutaro Kawaguchi's novel ""Aizen Katsura."""

Shrine in Saishoyama Park located where Sanada Maru, a small fort of Osaka Castle, once stood. Built by the Shigeno clan, a descendent of the Sanada clan, during the Edo period as a memorial for Sanada Yukimura and his son, Daisuke. While the struggling Tokugawa clan did not allow placement of a gravestone, it was finally erected on the 400th anniversary of his death in 2014. The gate is adorned with the six coin Sanada family crest and the grounds are decorated with red banners. Gravesites for the Kyoto Mimawarigumisho (special patrol branch) and Mannaoshi Jizou statues who mend evil connections are found on the grounds.

A temple of the Buzan-ha sect of Shingon Buddhism. When Sanada Maru, a small fort of Osaka Castle, was built there was a tree that the locals believed to be sacred. Sanada Yukimura also prayed to this tree by stabbing it with sickle and that winter he had a great victory during the winter campaign of the siege of Osaka. It is believed that after his victory Sanada Yukimura then erected this small shrine. This temple is famous as Osaka's foremost temple and worshippers who visit to pray stick sickles into the tree. Photography is not prohibited on the premises.
