The Dotonbori Annex of the famous tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen restaurant Ichiran. The retro Showa fashioned store is adorned with tables where you can enjoy a conversation with friends or family over a bowl of ramen. Their tonkotsu broth is a closely guarded secret refined over many years. Come taste the unique flavor of their noodles paired with a secret blend of chili pepper in their tonkotsu ramen. Ichiran's famous solo counter spaces are also available for the single customer.

One of the best ramen that we’ve ever tried. The ramen has a chewy texture, the broth was flavourful, the meat was tender, and the egg was boiled to perfection.

Located in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, at the corner where the Dotonbori and Sennichimae shopping streets converge, this ramen restaurant stands out for its bright red exterior walls and giant dragon sculpture. The menu consists of only two kinds of ramen and chashu-men. The soup is made from simmered pork and chicken bones, and the homemade thin noodles are well mixed with the soup. On the table are garlic, chives, and kimchi, allowing customers to customize the soup to their own taste.

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy the old-fashioned taste of soy sauce flavored ramen noodles located about a three-minute walk from Nishi-Nagahori Station on the Sennichimae Subway Line / Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. Since winning the King of Osaka Ramen Battle TV program it has become known as a restaurant where people queue to get in. The soup is chicken broth and pork based and the flat thin straight noodles are homemade from 100% domestic flour such as Haruyutaka produced in Hokkaido. The owner uses only Kagoshima Black Pork for the pork slice on top of the ramen which gives more flavor and becomes more delicious the more you chew.

Located in Minami district in Osaka along Midosuji Street, this ramen restaurant's theme is dragons. There are five branches in Minami alone, which shows how popular this chain is. The restaurant features a standing counter style. The simple pork bone soup is made from slowly boiling pork bones and chicken feet and adding a secret sauce. Free toppings include kimchi, leek, and garlic. This place is popular as an end to a night of drinking and as lunch for tourists. The nearest station is Namba Station. Open 24 hours.

Visited Japan and wanted to go back because of this ramen shop. That’s how good it is! The ramen itself is O so good with cheap price, fast serving, free mince garlic, cabbage & scallion kimchi.

KAMUKURA Sennichimae Branch located in Chuo Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture is a popular ramen noodle franchise and features a stylish exterior that is reminiscent of Izumotaisha Shrine. A western-style soy sauce flavor soup with plenty of vegetables has a unique taste which has been a secret since the establishment of the restaurant in 1986. It is a nostalgic and light taste and goes well with the ingredients that include white cabbage, pork and thinly sliced char siu. The thin noodles are served firm so as to be just the right firmness as you eat.

Amazing food, easy to order on the kiosk and super quick service. Fresh veggies and good spices. The only unfortunate part about it is that they would not let you do take away.

Specialist Abura Soba noodle restaurant Kirinji is highly recommended not only because the food is so delicious you are sure to become addicted to it, but also because of the first-class service that the restaurant provides. Located around four minutes’ walk from Ebisucho Station on the Sakaisuji Subway Line, Yuaitei is a popular restaurant best-known for its Shoyu Ramen (Ramen noodles in a soy sauce based soup). The interior of the restaurant features’ many boxers’ autographs; a great deal of care and attention has gone into choosing the names of the items on the menu. For example, Chubuto Hirauchi Noodles features a rich-tasting chicken bone broth to which dark soy sauce is added. Some of the items on the menu use thin noodles; a range of popular toppings—such as boiled eggs—is available, and for lunch there is a good selection of set meals. The rice used to make Ojiya (rice gruel seasoned with soy sauce) can also be added to the noodle broth. On weekdays, Yuaitei is open until 15:30 p.m. for lunch, and until 21:00 p.m. in the evening (last orders at 20:30 p.m.); the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

This is a popular Ramen shop specializing in soy based ramen which is located roughly a five-minute walk away from Kintetsu Namba Station. This restaurant has appeared in the media many times, and indeed has been awarded first place as Tabelog Osaka’s best ramen shop for three year in a row. Business hours are from 11 p.m. until 8 a.m. in the morning, and it is open 24 hours a day on Friday to Sunday and the day before a national holiday so many people also frequent it such as those returning home after a long drinking party. There is an extensive menu from light taste to a strong taste—the “Osaka Black” ramen with its dark soy sauce base of black soup and the “Naniwa Black” ramen which utilizes the flavors of seafood in the Osaka black stock.

"This restaurant is one of a chain of choice ramen restaurants started as a 30 square meter establishment in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture in 1991. This first, legendary establishment is said to have boasted lines of waiting customers 200 people long in spite of its small size. A special ""Shantan-shi"" soup sommelier stationed at each restaurant creates the broths used, and these broths in turn are each served with one of three varieties of noodles depending on the broth. The restaurant's chashu pork fillets, made by slow-stewing the choicest boned pork rib meat in a flavorful special sauce, are also exquisite."
