    The Daimaru Shinsaibashi Store is a department store that has become an iconic symbol of the Shinsaibashi district of Osaka. It is a large department store complex that comprises a Main Building, South Building, and also a North Building that was formerly the Sogo Shinsaibashi department store. Besides Japanese and international luxury goods brands, the Daimaru Shinsaibashi Store also sells high-end fashion, jewelry, household goods, etc. The Main Building is a gorgeous edifice with internal and external decoration in the Art Deco and Gothic styles; the Main Building is currently closed for refurbishment, but is scheduled to reopen in the autumn of 2019. There is direct access to the Store by an underground passage from Shinsaibashi Station.

    The Osaka branch of one of Japan's longest-established department store chains, Takashimaya Osaka Store is a major landmark in Minami district in Osaka. Besides the leading Japanese and international fashion brands, Takashimaya Osaka Store also has an impressive total of around 80 boutiques selling cosmetics, sundries, etc. The “Namba Dining Maison” restaurant zone on the seventh to ninth floors is open until 11:00 at night, and is a popular place to get together for a meal or a drink. The rooftop illuminations are a must-see.

    コロナ禍でどこの施設の入口にも手を消毒するスプレーが設置されていますが、心斎橋PARCOの消毒すは、自動なのでとても利用しやすくて好きです。
