This hidden gourmet street is located close to Umeda Station. Along the narrow alleyway, there are various kinds of shops nestled up to one another. The variety is truly rich, with everything from Italian, French, sushi, oyster bars, live shrimp bars, grilled pork skewers, beef or pork tripe hotpots, charcoal grilled meat, kushiage and Okinawan cuisine, to taverns and public bars. Because there is only a small distance between different shops, many people go pub crawling here. The lunch menus are also very satisfying.

While Osaka prefecture is the country's second smallest prefecture, its capital, Osaka City, is the country’s third-largest and arguably one of the most popular in the Kansai region thanks to its vibrant nightlife, the Osaka people’s openness, and its much-loved cuisine, which has earned it the nickname "the nation’s kitchen."
