    Osaka Kashiwarashi Enmyouchou Near 14-2 (South parking lot)
    This municipal park extends across the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line's Domyoji Station and the Kintetsu Osaka Line's Kawachi-Kokubu Station. The park is full of nature and flowers that can be enjoyed throughout the year. There are also various types of play equipment to be enjoyed in this hands-on park, such as the large slide Roller Train, box-type athletic Rope Climbing and Children's Ski Slope, where children can experience the thrills of sledding. In the Attractions Plaza, there are also rental bicycles for children (for a fee), which is a popular for families.

    This theme park is just a short walk from the Hanwa Line's Yamanakadani Station. The main attraction of this park is the incredible 100-meter long Roller Express. The ride ends in the mouth of a dinosaur, and you can hear it roar as you slide down this impressive attraction. There is also an athletic course and an observation deck, among other things. Visitors especially love the views of Kansai International Airport and Osaka Bay from the observation deck. Also within the theme park is a barbeque area, which is always bustling with families on their days off.

    なかなか立派な施設で、子供連れの家族で賑わっていました。入場無料で、これだけの施設を維持管理するのは、大変だと思いました。

    Tenshiba is the entrance area of Tennoji Park, which was remodeled as a free recreation area for the people of Osaka in October 2015. It is centered around an expansive lawn, surrounded by a variety of recreational facilities for the local people. The shopping area contains cafes, restaurants, and a farmers' market, and there is also a children's playground and a futsal court. In 2016, the newly redesigned park won one of Japan's annual Good Design Awards.

    This green space in Kita Ward of Sakai City is managed by Osaka Prefecture. It has a forest area with approximately 320,000 trees of 200 different varieties, and is particularly famous for its landscaped garden with 10,000 stocks of 15 varieties of Japanese irises, making this park chosen as one of the 100 Selections of Osaka Green. At the center of the park is a green grassy area with a large pond, surrounded by a garden, three children play areas, a motocross field used exclusively for BMX competitions, a barbecue plaza, sports facilities, and more, making this a great spot for people to gather throughout the year. Various events are also held to match the season, and the workshops on flowers are particularly popular.

    Located approx. three minutes from the Eiraku Yumenomori Koen-mae bus stop of Himawari Bus, this park in Kumatori Town opened in November 2015. Made with the concept of being energetic, filled with dreams and a park where everyone can enjoy themselves, it is about four times the size of Koshien Stadium near Kobe City, and includes large composite playground equipment with mountain slopes, the largest slide in the prefecture, rare equipment, healthy ones where you can stretch, and a skateboard plaza. In addition, there is a walking path and a hill where you can see Kansai International Airport, Awaji Island and Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, making it a place where everyone from children to the elderly can have fun to their heart's content.

    This urban park is located 600 meters north of the JR Fujisaka Station, following the train tracks. The park was created by cutting a clearing in this slightly elevated natural forest, which is characterized by its wooded slopes. There is a biotope in the park, with places for children to get close to nature. Also within the park are sports facilities, such as baseball grounds, tennis courts and a swimming pool, which is open in the summer. There are four different pools. A 50-meter pool with nine lanes, a flowing water pool, a wave pool and a children's pool. Additionally, there is seating for 400 spectators, and a lunch area, making this pool a very busy place during the summer months, full of parents and children.

    テニスコート、野球場、砂場なども完備した昔からある公園です。夏場は8の字、波プール、50mプールを備える市民に憩いのプールです。8月末までの営業ですが、土日やお盆の時期は駐車場は常に満車になってしまうので、最寄り駅(JR藤阪)か京阪バスでのアクセスをお勧めします。

    This is a large historical park next to the Chikatsu Asuka Museum. It was established to preserve and maintain the Ichisuka tumulus cluster, a group of tombs representative of Japan, as well as a place to learn about, become familiar with and interact with valuable cultural assets. Visitors are able to enter 40 of the 102 tombs within the park. The park, 29 hectares in size, is also a flower viewing spot where plum and cherry blossoms can be enjoyed in season and visitors can overlook the park from two observation platforms in the park. Both are marked on the garden guide map as perfect picnic spots.

    春に梅〜桜〜さつき、夏は緑、秋は紅葉を楽しめます。 空いているのでお花見にオススメです。 公園内のトイレも、管理棟内と博物館内にあり、清潔。 博物館内に喫茶店と自動販売機、管理棟内に自動販売機があるくらいなので、食べ物は事前に用意が必要です。

    This park is located in Neyagawa City. Facilities on the park's lush grounds include baseball and softball fields, 15 tennis courts, a track-and-field ground, and other sports facilities; as well as walking paths and a playground. Visitors can enjoy going for a walk while taking in seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms in spring. The Neya Kofun, an ancient burial mound dating to the late Kofun period, is also located on the grounds.

    This urban park is located approximately 15 minutes' walk from Senri-Chuo Station. It was constructed at the same time as Senri New Town, and spreads out to the east of the station, around the multi-unit apartments. The park's main attraction is the long roller slide in the Adventure Forest. The feeling of sliding down the mountain, through the trees, is exhilarating. The park also has athletic play areas for children to have fun while exercising and there are three hundred cherry trees planted in the park, making it a popular place to go flower-viewing in the spring. From the park's observation deck, Mt. Rokko and the mountains of Mino are visible, making it an outstanding view spot.

    The park has been selected as one of 100 historical parks in Japan. Sayama-ike is the oldest reservoir in Japan, and after being renovated as a park is now visited by many visitors in the spring as a place to view cherry blossoms. There are approximately 1,400 cherry trees planted around the pond and amongst them the early blooming Koshino cherry trees begin to blossom towards the end of March and are the earliest cherry blossoms in Osaka. The double flowering cherry blossoms begin in mid-April and the cherry blossom season can be enjoyed for a long period of time. There is also a walking path around Sayama Pond offering beautiful views, which is used for strolls and as a walking course and is also a place for the locals to relax.

    This park is located directly outside the Nankai Line's Hamadera-koen Park Station, or alternatively, the Hankai Tramway Hankai Line's Hamadera-ekimae Station. The park has a comprehensive collection of sports facilities, including baseball, tennis and archery, and also has a pool with a giant slide. In addition to the park's barbeque area, visitors can also enjoy a stroll through the beautiful pine forest, chosen as one of Japan's top 100 famous pine forests, or a walk through the Rose Garden, which contains 6,500 roses-300 different species of rose from wild roses to modern roses. For families with small children, the trains and go-karts in the Transport Garden are also very popular.

    This urban park utilizes the topography of Habikino hills. It is sandwiched between the Nankai Koya Line's Takidani Station and the Kintetsu Nagano Line's Takidani Fudou Station. There are many ponds in the park, and it was selected as one of Osaka's top 100 green spaces, due to its abundance of nature. In the spring, the cherry trees in the Sakura-ki no Sato, the plum trees in the Ume no Sato and the azalea on the Azalea no Oka hill come into glorious full bloom. There is also plenty of large play equipment to entertain children, and one of the park's many charms is that children can play freely here, while being surrounded by nature.
  • Bird Sanctuary Portside Greenbelt (Osaka Nanko Bird Sanctuary)

    This bird sanctuary is located in 3-Chome Nankokita, Suminoe Ward, Osaka City. The sanctuary makes use of an artificial tidal flat and is visited by some 150 species of birds annually, including sandpipers and plovers. There is an observation tower from which visitors can use telescopes for birdwatching. The sanctuary also holds seasonal wild bird and tidal flat animal watching events. The scenery which can be viewed from this tower, including the tidal flat itself as well as the area's sunsets, is also beautiful.

    A park located in Kurodoricho, Izumi City. Facilities include a large playground, water play deck, and observatory. A renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing, in spring, the park's roughly 700 cherry trees come into bloom and the park holds a cherry blossom festival. The cherry trees are also lit up at night, and during this time the park bustles with visitors come to enjoy the blossoms.

    This park is located near the JR Kyoto Line's Takatsuki Station, around the ruins of Takatsuki Castle, which was abandoned in 1874. There are walks along what would have been the castle moat, rest zones and various sport zones including baseball grounds. There are play equipment and lawns for children to play on, and various other facilities, such as a traffic garden and a museum of history and folklore. Traffic lights and signs are installed in the Traffic Garden, to help children learn traffic rules and manners on go-karts. Only children aged 3-8 years may use the go-karts.

    This park is located approximately one kilometer from the underground Midosuji Line's Shinkanaoka Station. This park has an athletics field that can also be used for soccer, a baseball field and a floodlit tennis court, in addition to a pool, gymnasium and other facilities. The park's facilities are set up so that anyone can freely use them, from competitive athletes, to people exercising to stay healthy or for prescribed exercise. There are three jogging courses in the park, with different layouts and lengths, so visitors can also enjoy either jogging or walking these courses.

    This park is just outside the 2A Exit of the Subway Chuo Line's Asashiobashi Station. The enormous grounds encompass walking courses surrounded by nature, a pool which is converted into an ice-skating rink in the winter and a grass lawn with children's play equipment. No matter what your interests are, or how old you are, anyone can enjoy this park in their own way. Sports events and concerts are held in the gymnasium, which unusually anywhere in the world, is half-underground with an observatory on the roof. The park's seasonal trees and flowers are magnificent, with cherry blossoms in the spring, violet Jacaranda flowers in the summer and autumn leaves in the fall.

    A park located in Kishiwada 1-Chome, Kadoma City. Park facilities include a grass field encircling Benten Pond, a playground, fountains, and flower beds. There's also a beautiful forest and a small temple dedicated to Benzaiten. The Benten Ike Park Spring Carnival is also held here.

    小さな池と池を囲む木々が風に揺れてのどかに過ごすことができました。近くの老人ホームの方でしょうか、係りの方に押されて車いすで来ておられました。こんな手付かずの公園も良いものです。

  • Akutagawa Sakurazutsumi Park

    This riverbed park is located along the Akutagawa River at the foot of the Monzen Bridge. A famous cherry blossom viewing spot, cherry blossoms bloom profusely along the bank in the spring. At Koinobori Festa 1000 held in May, over 1,000 carp streamers are raised and fill the sky over the Akutagawa River. In addition, you can enjoy playing at the river in the summer, and a large number of mainly local children gather there. The slide and spring riders are popular with small children. This spot is loved by local residents throughout the year.
