    This is an excursion farm in Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture. Dairy cows are raised in the idyllic natural surroundings of Kumihama Bay. Sora, a dairy produce atelier, is located on the grounds. Here, you can buy the butters and cheeses of the farm, and try your hand at making butter or pizza in the offered workshops. Other active group events, such as farm tours, are also offered.

    This sightseeing boat plies Ine Bay in Yosa County, Kyoto Prefecture. The roughly 25-minute cruise around the bay takes in scenery of funaya fishermen's houses and an unbroken view of the sea. Yaki chikuwa (grilled tube-shaped fish paste cakes) are a popular specialty available from the ferry terminal's Hide-baiten Shop. You can also buy feed to give to the seagulls.

    This agricultural recreation spot is filled with natural blessings and was opened to help show the connection between food and farming. The area has a direct view of Wakasa port and Kanmuri island, and is embraced by greenery. On the grounds there is an agricultural restaurant, sweets shop, vegetable gardens, and direct sales shops. The Fururu Market sits at the center of the park, and is jam packed with fresh-harvested produce and agricultural products from local farmers. The weekends are especially crowded with shoppers. In addition to seasonal vegetables, there activities intended to spread awareness of the connections between farm and food. In collaboration with the Japan Farm Village Network 21, farmers from other regions also come to sell their goods, including things that can only be found here.

    Fruits Oukoku Yasaka, located in the city of Kyotango in Kyoto Prefecture, is a fruit orchard open to the public from August to November. Visitors make reservations to come and pick peaches, grapes, pears, and other fruit in season. Processed fruit products, such as gelato or juice, are also sold. This is a popular spot for local families, and tourists enjoy it, too.

    7月の連休に宿泊。浦井浜海水浴場へ海水浴に来て利用しました。海水浴場からは約1キロくらいで車ですぐです。目の前には漁港があり、防波堤で釣りも楽しみました。大きなアジがたくさん釣れたのでお土産にしました。氷は宿で買えました。お部屋は4人で10畳部屋で広々。エアコンもちょうどよい効きでした。窓からは漁港と海が見渡せます。そして何と言っても食事。魚料理がこれでもかと言わんばかりにたくさん出ます。お造り...
