A restaurant where you can freely enjoy classic French cuisine just a five-minute walk from Karasuma Oike Station. They offer course meals and a la carte dishes made with plenty of seasonal ingredients. For both lunch and dinner, they offer three different course meals to choose from and items can be swapped depending on preference or allergies. Course content can also be swapped according to budget making this perfect for a variety of events including birthdays, anniversaries, girls' nights out, or parties. The open kitchen is said to provide peace of mind as there's little separation between you and the chef.

This is Kyoto's first Thai curry specialist, and it offers authentic flavors from Thailand. Located five minutes' walk from Sagano Line Emmachi Station, and stands out for its vivid red noren curtain. The shop's most popular dish is the green curry, made with the shop's original green curry paste developed after long research using green chilis, coconut milk, and more. It has a deep, rich flavor with the perfect level of sourness. In addition to green curry, they also offer red curry and Massaman curry made from red curry with added peanut butter and spices, for a choice of three.

Delicious. We came here a few days ago and ordered the chicken peanut curry (theres three rice options and the smallest of 200g was enough for us)... Our second visit tonight and I told myself Id...

Kyoto Areas

around-area-map

Its wooden tea houses, shuffling geisha, and spiritual sights have seen Kyoto hailed as the heart of traditional Japan, a world apart from ultramodern Tokyo. Despite being the Japanese capital for over a century, Kyoto escaped destruction during World War II, leaving behind a fascinating history which can be felt at every turn, from the fully gold-plated Kinkakuji Temple down to traditional customs such as geisha performances and tea ceremonies, which are still practiced to this day.
