    Kaze no Yakata sells mobiles in a shop located along the Philosopher's Walk in Kyoto's Sakyo Ward. The building, constructed in a mixture of Japanese and Western styles with a glass front, is packed with mobiles of all kinds, standing ones and hanging ones that sway gently in perfect balance. In addition, the shop sells a lot of themed items typical of Kyoto, such as kinu temari, ornamental balls made of silk thread. The shop also sells seasonal decorative items.

    吉田神社の節分祭に行った折に、併せてお参りした。吉田山にはいくつか神社があるが、白川通側へ降りるのでなければ、ここまで来る人は少ない。逆に真如堂からだとすぐ目と鼻の先だ。詳しいことはよく分からないが、黒住教という神道の一派らしい。
